- • Responsible for promoting and growing Neurocrine Biosciences’ pharmaceutical products within a designated geographic territory in Colorado.
- • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key healthcare stakeholders including psychiatrists, neurologists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, pharmacists, and clinical staff.
- • Educate physicians, medical assistants, case managers, and other healthcare professionals on the approved indications and benefits of Neurocrine’s products.
- • Execute territory-specific sales strategies using in-person and virtual communications to meet or exceed sales objectives.
- • Identify and address territory-specific market opportunities and barriers to product adoption.
- • Manage promotional resources and budget effectively to maximize return on investment.
- • Build and sustain relationships with key opinion leaders, advocacy groups, community mental health clinics, and long-term care facilities.
- • Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams including managed care, marketing, patient access, medical science liaisons, and medical communications.
- • Maintain full field presence Monday through Friday, with flexibility to attend occasional evening or weekend events.
- • Uphold the highest ethical standards in compliance with FDA guidelines and pharmaceutical industry best practices.
- • Demonstrate integrity and model behaviors aligned with company values and compliance policies.
- • Utilize sales automation and business intelligence platforms such as Salesforce.com, Oracle, SAP, Veeva, COGNOS, QlikView, or similar systems to track activities and performance.
- • Navigate complex accounts across varied care sites and understand specialty fulfillment and payer requirements.
- • Apply analytical thinking to assess broader organizational impact and solve problems in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
- • Act with entrepreneurial initiative, challenge the status quo, and continuously improve tools and processes.
- • Maintain a valid driver’s license and clean driving record, as the role requires frequent travel within the assigned territory.
- • Reside within the geographic area of the assigned territory to ensure effective field presence and customer accessibility.
- • Meet multiple deadlines with accuracy and efficiency while thriving in a performance-based, high-pressure environment.
- • Derive satisfaction from purposeful work that directly impacts patient outcomes in neurological, psychiatric, and endocrine disorders.
🎯 Requirements
- • BS/BA degree in science or related field with minimum 4 years of commercial pharma/biotech experience, including 3+ years in specialty pharmaceutical, LTC, psychology, or neurology sales
- • Master’s degree in science or related field with 2+ years of similar commercial pharma/biotech experience
- • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- • Proficiency with Salesforce.com, Oracle, SAP, Veeva, or other business intelligence platforms
- • Reside within the assigned geographic territory in Colorado
- • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales objectives in complex pharmaceutical environments
