- • Responsible for promoting and growing Neurocrine Biosciences’ pharmaceutical products within a designated geographic territory in Indiana.
- • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key healthcare stakeholders including psychiatrists, neurologists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, pharmacists, and clinical staff.
- • Educate physicians, medical assistants, case managers, and other healthcare professionals on the approved indications and benefits of Neurocrine’s products.
- • Execute territory-specific sales strategies using in-person and virtual communications to meet or exceed sales objectives.
- • Identify and address territory-specific market opportunities and barriers to product adoption.
- • Manage promotional resources and budget effectively to maximize return on investment.
- • Build and sustain relationships with key opinion leaders, advocacy groups, community mental health clinics, and long-term care facilities.
- • Engage with local and regional payers and pharmacies to understand and navigate specialty fulfillment and payer requirements.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams including managed care, marketing, patient access, medical science liaisons, and medical communications.
- • Uphold the highest ethical standards and comply with FDA guidelines and pharmaceutical industry best practices.
- • Maintain full field presence Monday through Friday with flexibility to attend occasional evening or weekend events.
- • Utilize sales automation and business intelligence platforms such as Salesforce.com, Oracle, SAP, Veeva, COGNOS, QlikView, and Business Objects to track performance and manage customer data.
- • Demonstrate strong project management abilities and proficiency in business systems to support territory operations.
- • Analyze market trends and customer feedback to drive strategic decision-making and improve product adoption.
- • Navigate complex healthcare accounts across diverse care settings including outpatient clinics, hospitals, and specialty pharmacies.
- • Operate with an entrepreneurial mindset, adapting quickly to change and thriving in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
- • Maintain a valid driver’s license and clean driving record to support frequent travel within the assigned territory.
- • Reside within the geographic area of the assigned territory to ensure consistent field presence and customer accessibility.
- • Contribute to internal reputation as a subject matter expert in neurology, psychiatry, or antipsychotic therapeutics.
- • Continuously improve tools, processes, and sales methodologies to enhance effectiveness and compliance.
- • Act as a settling influence during challenging situations and build trust among peers and cross-functional partners.
- • Demonstrate intellectual curiosity, challenge the status quo, and make decisions with incomplete information when necessary.
- • Deliver accurate and efficient work while managing multiple deadlines in a high-pressure environment.

🎯 Requirements
- • BS/BA degree in science or related field AND minimum of 4 years of commercial pharma/biotech experience, including 3+ years in specialty pharmaceutical or long-term care (LTC) sales with focus on psychology, neurology, or antipsychotics
- • Master’s degree in science or related field AND minimum of 2 years of similar commercial pharma/biotech experience
- • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- • Proficiency with Salesforce.com, Oracle, SAP, Veeva, or other business intelligence platforms
- • Reside within the geographic territory assigned (Indiana)
- • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales objectives in complex pharmaceutical environments
