- • As a NOC Site Operations Manager at General Dynamics Information Technology, you will provide operational leadership and oversight for multiple on-site IT operations teams across several Air Force bases in the Continental U.S., remotely managing day-to-day IT operations and ensuring optimized performance to meet or exceed contractual SLAs.
- • You will oversee system administrators, cyber security analysts, network engineers, network administrators, and cable and fiber technicians, supervising site leads and coordinating Tier 2 and Tier 3 support with co-located Network Integration teams.
- • You will monitor and report operational network statistics including KPIs, SLAs, QoS, and end-of-life configuration management items, while managing risks and resolving issues affecting change scope, schedule, and quality.
- • You will participate in operational briefings and meetings to provide situational awareness on network monitoring, compliance, and liaison capabilities, and contribute to process improvements and workforce direction.
- • You will manage on-site services and budgets, ensuring alignment with mission-critical requirements and supporting the delivery of reliable IT infrastructure for defense and intelligence operations.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a related field, or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.
- • 12+ years of increasing responsibilities in leading remote operations centers, with strong technical knowledge of networks, systems, and general IT infrastructure.
- • Demonstrated experience managing 24/7 operations to maintain service levels at SLA requirements, including hands-on experience with Cisco and Aruba network equipment.
- • Thorough understanding of wireless networking, ITSM best practices, and supporting systems, along with exceptional troubleshooting, problem-solving, and collaborative skills.
- • Active DoD Secret Level Security Clearance required, with ability to obtain and maintain clearance; US citizenship is mandatory.
- • CISM or DoD 8140 equivalent certification (e.g., CASP+, CCNA, CCNP Security, CCSP, GCED, GCIA, GCLD, CISA, CISSP, GSLC) required.
- • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for developing and presenting technical materials to diverse audiences.
