- • Own the critical first 90 days of every new Bloomerang customer’s journey, transforming excited sign-ups into confident, data-driven fundraising powerhouses. You will quarterback a structured, high-touch onboarding program that moves organizations from “we just bought software” to “we just hit our quarterly goal.”
- • Design and deliver tailored onboarding plans for nonprofits ranging from grassroots start-ups to multi-million-dollar institutions, balancing standardized best practices with the flexibility to honor each mission’s unique workflows, compliance needs, and donor cultures.
- • Run weekly live training sessions (Zoom), self-paced learning paths (Thinkific), and 1:1 strategy calls, ensuring every user—ED, development director, volunteer coordinator, or board member—knows exactly how to import data, segment donors, launch appeals, and read the dashboards that prove ROI.
- • Become the customer’s trusted translator between fundraising theory and Bloomerang technology: map their existing spreadsheets, Raiser’s Edge exports, or Mailchimp lists into clean, actionable constituent records; set up custom fields and tags that mirror their campaign taxonomy; and configure automated workflows that save hours every week.
- • Monitor onboarding health in real time through Gainsight and Salesforce, flag at-risk accounts before day-30, and prescribe rescue plays—extra office hours, a data-clean-up sprint, or a board-demo deck—to keep every customer on a green trajectory toward first $10k raised in the platform.
- • Collaborate daily with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Support to close the loop on customer feedback: distill onboarding friction into Jira tickets that influence roadmap priorities, and champion “voice of the customer” stories that inspire marketing campaigns and case studies.
- • Build and iterate scalable assets—checklists, video snippets, email drip sequences, and Notion playbooks—that empower teammates and power-users to replicate your magic, ultimately expanding onboarding capacity without sacrificing white-glove quality.
- • Track and report key metrics: time-to-first-donation, NPS at day-45, feature adoption depth, and expansion pipeline influenced by onboarding excellence; present findings monthly to leadership and use data to refine segmentation, content, and automation strategies.
- • Contribute to an award-winning remote culture that values curiosity, candor, and customer obsession. Share fundraising tips in Slack #wins, host virtual coffee chats with nonprofit leaders, and represent Bloomerang at sector conferences (AFP, NTC) as a subject-matter expert.
- • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion in every interaction—whether choosing imagery for training decks, advocating for multi-language captions, or ensuring small BIPOC-led organizations receive the same caliber of service as large institutions.
🎯 Requirements
- • 2+ years in a customer-facing onboarding, implementation, or success role for a SaaS platform serving nonprofits, education, or healthcare.
- • Proven track record of guiding 50+ accounts simultaneously through a structured 30-60-90-day onboarding plan with measurable adoption and ROI outcomes.
- • Advanced proficiency in CRM data hygiene: imports, deduplication, custom fields, and segmentation logic; experience with Bloomerang, Salesforce, or Raiser’s Edge NXT preferred.
- • Exceptional live and asynchronous communication skills—comfortable presenting to C-suite boards one hour and recording a 3-minute Loom for volunteers the next.
- • Nice-to-have: CFRE certification, experience with fundraising campaigns (annual fund, peer-to-peer, grants), or fluency in Spanish or French to support global nonprofits.
