📋 Description

• As an Onboarding Specialist at Scotch (a 3M Company venture), you will guide new beverage alcohol retailer customers through the end-to-end implementation of Scotch’s POS platform, ensuring a smooth transition from hardware setup to go-live support.
• Day to day, you will configure and deploy POS software, coordinate hardware installations (touch terminals, receipt printers, barcode scanners, cash drawers), lead remote and occasional on-site customer trainings, serve as the primary point of contact, troubleshoot implementation issues, and maintain onboarding documentation and training materials.
• Scotch is building a next-generation operating system for beverage alcohol retailers, modernizing the $1.6T industry by combining POS, payments, back office, and e-commerce into a purpose-built platform. Founded by leaders from Skupos (acquired 2023), Drizly (acquired by Uber), and engineering leaders from top tech companies, Scotch has raised $28M from top VCs and is recognized by Forbes as a leader in liquor retail technology.
• In this role, you will help shape onboarding processes as the company scales, make a direct impact on customer experience during a critical growth stage, work cross-functionally with Sales, Support, Product, and Engineering teams, and grow with a fast-moving startup offering significant long-term opportunity.

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in customer onboarding, implementation, technical support, or a similar customer-facing operational role
• Experience working with POS systems, fintech products, or other hardware/software implementations preferred
• Familiarity with POS hardware such as receipt printers, barcode scanners, payment terminals, and cash drawers
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, especially in live customer environments
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and simply
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple implementations simultaneously
