  • • WHOOP is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Visual Merchandising Operations Manager to spearhead the operational execution and continuous upkeep of our global retail and in-store experiences. This pivotal role is designed for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses a keen eye for detail, ensuring that WHOOP's brand presence in physical retail spaces is not only visually stunning but also operationally seamless and consistent worldwide.
  • • In close collaboration with the Head of Visual Merchandising, the Creative team, and the Retail Experience Design group, you will be instrumental in translating visual merchandising concepts into tangible realities. Your primary responsibility will be to guarantee that these concepts are implemented with the utmost precision, unwavering consistency, and exceptional operational excellence across our diverse network of wholesale partners.
  • • This role demands a proactive approach to managing the entire lifecycle of visual merchandising execution. You will own the critical aspects of project execution, from initial planning and material sourcing to final installation and ongoing maintenance. This includes meticulous vendor coordination, ensuring that all external partners meet WHOOP's high standards for quality and delivery.
  • • A significant part of your remit will involve maintaining the quality and integrity of all visual merchandising materials. You will be responsible for establishing and enforcing quality control measures to ensure that fixtures, signage, and display elements consistently reflect the premium nature of the WHOOP brand. This requires a deep understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and best practices in retail display.
  • • Cost management is another key pillar of this position. You will be tasked with overseeing budgets for visual merchandising projects, tracking expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and ensuring that all initiatives are delivered within financial parameters without compromising on brand standards or execution quality.
  • • Furthermore, you will provide oversight for the regional fixture lifecycle. This involves managing the inventory, deployment, maintenance, and eventual replacement or refurbishment of fixtures across different geographic locations. This requires strategic planning to ensure that our retail footprint is always up-to-date, functional, and aligned with current brand aesthetics.
  • • The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of retail operations, supply chain logistics, and project management principles as they apply to the visual merchandising landscape. You will act as the central point of contact for all operational aspects of visual merchandising, liaising between internal teams, external vendors, and retail partners to ensure smooth and efficient project delivery.
  • • Your work will directly impact the perception of the WHOOP brand in the physical retail environment. By ensuring consistent and high-quality execution of visual merchandising strategies, you will contribute to an elevated customer experience, reinforce brand messaging, and ultimately drive sales and brand loyalty.
  • • You will be responsible for developing and refining operational processes and workflows related to visual merchandising to enhance efficiency and scalability as WHOOP continues its global expansion.
  • • This role requires a hands-on approach, often involving site visits to retail locations to assess installations, provide guidance, and troubleshoot any operational challenges that may arise.
