- • As an Onboarding Specialist at Puzzle.io, you will be the primary point of contact for new customers during their critical first interactions with the platform, guiding them through setup, accounting fundamentals, and data migration to ensure a confident and successful start. This role is essential to helping modern startups and small businesses transition smoothly to Puzzle’s real-time accounting platform, directly impacting customer satisfaction, retention, and long-term product adoption.
- • You will lead personalized 1:1 onboarding calls to configure accounts, explain core workflows, and support data migrations from platforms like QuickBooks and Xero, ensuring accuracy and minimizing disruption. Acting as a trusted advisor, you’ll translate complex bookkeeping concepts into clear, empathetic language while serving as the friendly first point of contact via video, email, and chat.
- • You will proactively identify risks, gaps, or opportunities during onboarding and recommend best practices, while collaborating closely with Customer Success, Product, and Engineering teams to surface customer feedback and improve the onboarding experience.
- • You will help refine onboarding playbooks, templates, and documentation as the company scales, contributing to a repeatable, high-quality customer journey.
- • You will ensure every customer completes onboarding feeling informed, confident, and excited to use Puzzle, laying the foundation for long-term success and advocacy.

🎯 Requirements
- • 1–3 years of customer-facing experience in customer success, onboarding, support, accounting, or a related role
- • Working knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting fundamentals is required
- • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex ideas clearly and empathetically
- • Highly organized and comfortable managing multiple onboarding workflows simultaneously
- • Energized by talking to customers and building relationships
