• • Lead live, high-energy Zoom classes twice a week (morning or evening) for 25–30 adult learners who are balancing jobs, families, and dreams of breaking into healthcare; your energy and clarity will set the tone for their entire career journey.
• • Deliver Stepful’s NHA-aligned Patient Care Technician curriculum—vital signs, infection control, phlebotomy basics, EKG placement, patient mobility, and soft-skills—using breakout rooms, polls, case studies, and real-world role-play so every concept sticks.
• • Grade clinical skill videos, discussion posts, and module quizzes within 24 hours; give laser-focused, encouraging feedback that turns mistakes into mastery and keeps completion rates above 90 %.
• • Maintain daily asynchronous contact via email, SMS, and our AI-supported chat so students feel seen between classes; celebrate first successful blood draw videos, answer 2 a.m. “I’m nervous” texts, and escalate at-risk learners to our Student Success team within hours, not days.
• • Co-create weekly lesson plans with our Instructional Design squad; pilot new AI-generated scenarios, suggest culturally relevant case studies, and A/B test engagement tactics that increase attendance and certification pass rates.
• • Host optional certification-prep boot camps before NHA exams; track practice-test analytics, triage weak domains, and cheer students on as they cross the 390-score finish line.
• • Record micro-lectures (5–7 min) for our asynchronous library; these clips are reused across partner health-system cohorts, amplifying your impact from 30 students to 3,000.
• • Join a 30-minute stand-up every Monday with Stepful’s Academic Leadership, Product, and Career Services to review cohort dashboards, share student success stories, and iterate on curriculum in real time—no bureaucracy, just rapid improvement.
• • Represent Stepful at virtual hiring fairs and alumni panels; your graduate testimonials become the social proof that convinces the next cohort to bet on themselves.
• • Own your section’s outcomes: if your students’ job-placement rate dips, you’ll dive into the data with our Workforce team, refine résumé workshops, and invite employer partners to mock-interview sessions until the numbers rebound.
• • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion—80 % of our learners are women, 70 % are Black or Latinx, and many are first-generation college students; your culturally responsive teaching practices ensure no one is left behind.
• • Work from anywhere in the U.S. on a stable, 1099 contract that pays per class section (≈10 hrs/week); teach one section or stack three—your schedule, your income, your impact.
