- • The Operating Effectiveness Advisor serves as a strategic operations partner to senior Global Information Security (GIS) leadership, driving operational efficiency, governance, and data-informed decision-making across workforce management, financial oversight, and reporting.
- • Day to day, the role involves leading operational processes related to hiring controls, contractor conversions, and workforce planning; developing and delivering reporting and analytics to inform leadership decisions; analyzing operational and financial data to identify trends, risks, and optimization opportunities; ensuring consistent governance and reporting standards across GIS; partnering with Finance, Vendor Management, and Third-Party Management teams; supporting executive reporting and governance forums; and driving continuous improvement across processes, tools, and reporting capabilities.
- • The role operates within the Global Information Security (GIS) function of The Cigna Group, partnering closely with the Office of the COO, HR, and Finance to deliver actionable insights and support strategic initiatives aligned with GCISO priorities.
- • In this role, the individual can develop advanced analytical and reporting skills, gain deep exposure to healthcare and regulated environments, strengthen cross-functional influence without direct authority, and contribute to high-impact operational improvements that support enterprise-wide security and efficiency goals.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree preferred
- • 5+ years of experience in business operations, analytics, or IT business management
- • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- • Experience with Clarity, Tableau, and Oracle Financials preferred
- • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- • Experience with modeling, forecasting, and trend analysis
