- • As an Operator in Residence (Measurement Strategist) on Triple Whale's Marketing Science team, you will serve as the operator voice inside the Compass and Unified Measurement customer experience, translating complex measurement outputs into actionable business decisions for high-revenue ecommerce brands.
- • You will lead measurement strategy for a portfolio of Compass brands, owning the full measurement conversation arc from kickoff and test design through results interpretation and roadmap development, while translating MMM, incrementality, and attribution model outputs into operator-native decisions about channel mix and budget allocation.
- • You will work as part of a two-person service duo alongside a Marketing Data Scientist, providing strategic advisory and measurement roadmap expertise while collaborating closely with Product, Data Science, and CSM teams to bridge the gap between brand complexity and Triple Whale's tools.
- • You will support sales as a subject matter expert by joining high-value prospect conversations to provide operator credibility, helping $200M+ omnichannel brands feel genuinely understood before deal decisions, and feeding product development with real-world insights from brand friction points.
🎯 Requirements
- • Real operator experience at scale: accountability for marketing performance as an in-house brand operator (not agency/advisor) with experience making budget calls, defending channel spend to CFOs, and navigating organizational complexity at brands doing meaningful revenue.
- • Measurement literacy: understanding of last-click, MTA, MMM, and incrementality testing, ability to explain test confidence, null results, and attribution gaps in plain language, and skill to make models meaningful for operators who must act on them.
- • Paid media and channel expertise: 5+ years running or closely overseeing paid media across Meta, Google, TikTok, or similar platforms at meaningful scale, with understanding of platform mechanics, attribution windows, reporting gaps, and articulable opinions about platform tradeoffs.
- • Omnichannel fluency: experience running marketing across DTC, Amazon, wholesale, and retail simultaneously, with understanding of why attribution problems are genuinely hard in offline-inclusive contexts and why digital-only frameworks often fail.
- • Executive-level communication: ability to run high-stakes calls with CFOs, CMOs, and media buyers, adjusting depth and framing for each stakeholder while delivering hard news (e.g., null results, contradictory recommendations) without losing relationships.
