- • Lead Jerry’s organic growth strategy by designing and executing content that ranks on Google and earns authoritative citations in AI answer engines like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini for insurance, vehicle maintenance, and repair topics.
- • Own the end-to-end editorial pipeline from brief to publish, including AI drafting, human editing, QA gates, and publication standards across jerry.ai and external platforms.
- • Define and enforce Jerry’s zero-tolerance accuracy standards for YMYL (Your Money or Your Life) financial content, ensuring every factual claim is sourced, every edge case is verified, and all content meets regulatory and trust-based compliance.
- • Build and scale an AI-native content production system that maintains quality as output volume increases, determining where AI handles tasks and where human judgment is non-negotiable.
- • Set the content roadmap across owned and external channels, aligning editorial output with organic traffic and customer acquisition targets that directly impact revenue and profitability.
- • Monitor and analyze where Jerry’s content appears (or doesn’t) in AI answer engines and search results, identifying gaps and implementing strategies to expand visibility among users seeking car-related advice.
- • Establish credibility infrastructure including named authorship, transparent review processes, and documented sourcing protocols to ensure content carries the authority required for financial decision-making.
- • Stay ahead of evolving SEO and AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) trends, adapting content structure, formatting, and keyword strategy to meet the discovery behaviors of both human searchers and AI systems.
- • Manage one direct report and a freelance bench, while leveraging AI agents to amplify editorial output without compromising quality or compliance.
- • Measure success by customer conversion and acquisition metrics—not page views or impressions—ensuring every piece of content drives tangible business growth.
- • Maintain strict editorial standards for insurance and financing content, where inaccuracies carry real-world consequences; no content is approved without rigorous human validation of AI drafts.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally to align content strategy with product, engineering, and compliance teams to ensure technical accuracy and regulatory adherence across all published materials.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree
- • Proven experience in SEO and AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) for YMYL industries like insurance, finance, or healthcare
- • Expertise in using LLMs (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) for content drafting, research, and automation at scale
- • Demonstrated ability to build and manage AI-powered content production systems with quality control gates
- • Deep understanding of editorial standards for high-stakes financial content, including sourcing, verification, and compliance
