  • • Serve as an Outbound Sales Development Representative (SDR) to build a high-quality pipeline for Workato’s commercial sales team by identifying and engaging new enterprise accounts.
  • • Execute outbound prospecting campaigns via cold email, social selling (LinkedIn), and cold calling to book meetings with key decision-makers at target accounts.
  • • Utilize CRM (Salesforce), outreach platforms (Outreach), and data tools (Zoominfo) to manage prospecting activities, track engagement, and update lead records accurately.
  • • Collaborate with Account Executives and the broader sales team to align on target accounts, messaging, and follow-up strategies, sharing successful outreach templates and insights via Slack.
  • • Meet or exceed monthly activity and meeting booking targets through structured, measurable goals supported by clear enablement and leadership guidance.
  • • Maintain a high standard of communication in English, crafting personalized, compelling messages that resonate with enterprise prospects across industries.
  • • Stay informed about Workato’s iPaaS platform and AI-driven automation solutions to effectively articulate value propositions during prospect interactions.
  • • Work in a hybrid model, commuting to either the Palo Alto or Denver office two days per week to participate in team meetings, training, and collaboration sessions.
  • • Demonstrate initiative, resilience, and a proactive mindset in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment with clear processes and peer support.
  • • Contribute to a collaborative team culture by actively sharing best practices, feedback, and successful outreach tactics with fellow SDRs.
  • • Embrace continuous learning about sales techniques, enterprise technology, and AI trends, even without prior technical expertise—training will be provided.
  • • Represent Workato professionally in all external communications, reflecting the company’s values of innovation, trust, and operational excellence.
  • • Maintain a positive, energetic attitude while managing high-volume outreach, adapting messaging based on prospect feedback and response patterns.
  • • Leverage business applications including Google Workspace, Slack, and Zoom to coordinate daily activities and maintain seamless internal communication.
  • • Take ownership of pipeline growth metrics and be accountable for driving measurable revenue impact through consistent, high-quality outreach.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Some work experience in roles such as recruiting, outside sales, business analysis, or other relevant business functions
  • • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
  • • Knowledge of business applications including Google Apps, Outreach, Zoominfo, Slack, and Salesforce
  • • Must be willing to work hybrid and commute to Palo Alto or Denver office 2 days per week
