- • As a P&C Actuary at RSM US LLP, you will work with a team of industry professionals on regulatory consulting and insurance-related engagements, contributing to the financial strength assessments of property/casualty insurers through risk-focused financial examinations and rate filing reviews.
- • Day to day, you will identify and assess reserving, pricing/underwriting, and reinsurance risks; review complex models for regulatory compliance; assist audit teams with financial statement accruals; prepare original actuarial analyses; review peers’ work; coordinate internal resources; advise project teams on solutions; document conclusions; and communicate effectively with clients and cross-functional teams while adhering to budgets and timelines.
- • You will join Risk & Regulatory Consulting, LLC (RRC), an affiliate of RSM US LLP, a national leader in providing regulatory services including financial examinations, market conduct, insolvency, actuarial valuations, reinsurance expertise, and compliance support to clients across the insurance industry.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in P&C actuarial science, advance toward FCAS/MAAA designations, develop leadership and consulting skills, and gain exposure to complex regulatory engagements that build your reputation as a trusted resource in risk and regulatory consulting.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Economics, or Statistics
- • Minimum of 5+ years professional experience in a Property and Casualty insurance company, financial services, or consulting firm
- • ACAS, FCAS, MAAA designations preferred
- • Experience with personal lines, commercial lines, and reinsurance preferred
- • Experience in predictive modeling using Python or R is a plus
- • Strong interpersonal, presentation, analytical, and statistical sampling skills
