  • • Serve as a strategic Regional Philanthropic Consultant to expand Fidelity Charitable’s presence and impact across the Pacific Northwest by engaging financial advisors, attorneys, accountants, and corporate professionals.
  • • Represent Fidelity Charitable’s mission and capabilities as a visible and credible leader in the territory, building trust and credibility with professional intermediaries.
  • • Deliver sophisticated consultation on tax-advantaged giving strategies, complex asset donations, and comprehensive philanthropic planning to integrate charitable giving into clients’ wealth management frameworks.
  • • Drive adoption and implementation of the Charitable Investment Advisor Program by generating referrals, supporting client retention, and enhancing intermediary engagement.
  • • Influence and operationalize charitable planning strategies across a diverse network of financial and legal professionals to increase regional and national grantmaking.
  • • Collaborate with internal teams and specialist departments to improve divisional processes, identify new growth opportunities, and align philanthropic initiatives with organizational goals.
  • • Make strategic, data-informed decisions based on long-term market trends and business implications to guide regional expansion and service innovation.
  • • Lead cross-functional initiatives, manage resources across multiple project groups, and coordinate efforts between internal stakeholders to ensure seamless client service delivery.
  • • Communicate complex financial, legal, and tax concepts clearly and persuasively to influential, high-net-worth audiences, including advisors and institutional decision-makers.
  • • Build and maintain long-term relationships with professional intermediaries to foster repeat business, increase donor participation, and strengthen Fidelity Charitable’s market position.
  • • Apply deep expertise in charitable giving mechanisms, including donor-advised funds, appreciated securities, private foundation planning, and estate integration strategies.
  • • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by analyzing intermediary networks, market dynamics, and regional philanthropic trends.
  • • Maintain alignment with Fidelity’s regulatory obligations under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, ERISA, and other applicable federal and state laws governing financial services.
  • • Contribute to organizational growth by contributing insights from field experience to improve tools, training, and resources for the broader philanthropic consulting team.
  • • Act as a key liaison between donors, intermediaries, and Fidelity Charitable to ensure the brand’s mission of advancing charitable giving is consistently upheld.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or designation (CAP®, CFP®) preferred
  • • Minimum of 12+ years of experience in financial services with strong background in field sales and strategic planning
  • • Deep expertise in tax, legal, and investment principles related to charitable planning
  • • Proven ability to solve complex problems with functional and process implications
  • • Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills for influencing influential audiences
  • • Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional initiatives and driving measurable business impact
