- • As a Part-Time Evaluator in Data Analytics at Western Governors University, you will play a vital role in assessing student mastery of learning objectives and course competencies, directly supporting student success and academic progress in WGU’s competency-based education model.
- • Day to day, you will analyze and evaluate student assessments, provide accurate and personalized feedback, apply evaluation policies consistently, collaborate with team members to ensure scoring reliability, and stay current with evolving evaluation processes and course updates.
- • You will join a mission-driven, student-focused team at WGU, a pioneer in online, competency-based education committed to expanding access to higher education and fostering a diverse, inclusive workforce dedicated to helping students graduate and build better futures.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in data analytics evaluation, refine your ability to deliver constructive and consistent feedback, strengthen collaboration and communication skills, and contribute to improving assessment processes that impact student outcomes.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum earned Master’s Degree in a computing field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Applied Mathematics, or similar).
- • Minimum of 3 years of work experience, teaching, or research in a computing field.
- • Ability to review assessments and determine student mastery of learning objectives with accuracy and consistency.
- • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to deliver helpful, personalized feedback.
- • Demonstrated competency with technology used to evaluate and respond to student assessments.
- • Ability to adapt quickly to new evaluation processes and apply changes effectively.
