- • Provide individualized therapy services to patients navigating perinatal mood disorders including postpartum depression and anxiety through a virtual care model.
- • Deliver evidence-based clinical interventions aligned with Seven Starling’s holistic model, integrating specialized therapy, peer support, and medication management protocols.
- • Conduct initial assessments, ongoing therapy sessions, and progress evaluations via secure telehealth platforms to ensure continuity of care.
- • Collaborate with Seven Starling’s clinical and leadership teams to refine treatment approaches and maintain high standards of patient outcomes.
- • Adhere to all state and federal regulations governing licensed mental health practice in Virginia, including documentation, consent, and confidentiality requirements.
- • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant electronic health records using Seven Starling’s designated clinical systems.
- • Participate in regular clinical supervision, team meetings, and continuing education sessions to enhance therapeutic effectiveness and stay current with best practices in women’s reproductive mental health.
- • Work within a structured part-time schedule to support patient caseloads across multiple time zones, with flexibility to accommodate patient availability.
- • Engage with OBGYN clinics and health plan partners (including UnitedHealthCare, Cigna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and Aetna) to ensure seamless referral and care coordination.
- • Contribute to program quality improvement initiatives by providing feedback on patient experience, treatment efficacy, and operational workflows.
- • Demonstrate cultural competency and trauma-informed care when serving diverse populations of women across the reproductive lifespan.
- • Maintain professional licensure in good standing with the Virginia Board of Psychology or Virginia Board of Counseling, as applicable.
- • Uphold Seven Starling’s mission to make accessible, affordable, and effective mental health care available to all women, with a focus on reducing stigma and increasing treatment adherence.
🎯 Requirements
- • Valid, active license to practice clinical mental health therapy in the state of Virginia
- • Master’s degree or higher in psychology, counseling, social work, or related mental health field
- • Experience providing therapy to individuals with perinatal mood and anxiety disorders
- • Proficiency in telehealth platforms and secure electronic health record systems
- • Ability to maintain a part-time schedule with flexible availability across weekdays and evenings
- • Current malpractice insurance coverage
