• Join FOLX Health as a Part-Time Telehealth Therapist and become a vital part of our mission to provide leading LGBTQIA+ healthcare and wellness services. In this remote role, you will deliver essential individual therapy to our members through a secure and user-friendly telehealth platform, directly impacting the lives of individuals seeking affirming and comprehensive care.
• As a therapist with FOLX, your primary responsibility will be to provide individual therapy through synchronous video sessions. You will work with adults experiencing a wide spectrum of mental health conditions, offering a safe and supportive space for them to explore their challenges and work towards healing and growth.
• You will collaborate closely with a dedicated team of fellow therapists and clinicians, fostering a comprehensive approach to patient care. This interdisciplinary collaboration is key to ensuring our members receive holistic support that addresses their diverse needs.
• A core component of your role will involve conducting initial and ongoing assessments of patient conditions and needs. This includes understanding their unique circumstances, mental health history, and therapeutic goals to inform the development of personalized treatment plans.
• You will be responsible for developing and implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions that are specifically tailored to each patient's treatment goals. This requires a strong understanding of various therapeutic modalities and the ability to adapt them to individual client profiles.
• Drawing from self-assessments, functional improvement metrics, and goal progress measures, you will continuously monitor and adjust treatment plans. This dynamic approach ensures that therapy remains effective and responsive to the evolving needs of our members.
• Beyond scheduled sessions, you will utilize between-session messaging to provide ongoing support to patients and to communicate effectively with the clinical team via our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. All communication and documentation will adhere strictly to FOLX Health policies and procedures, maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism.
• Active participation in treatment team meetings, clinical supervision, and departmental meetings is expected. These forums are crucial for sharing insights, discussing complex cases, receiving peer support, and contributing to the collective knowledge and development of our clinical services.
• Maintaining detailed, accurate, and timely clinical documentation is paramount. This includes progress notes, treatment plan updates, and any other required records, ensuring compliance with ethical guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• You will have the opportunity to contribute to the design, coordination, and delivery of therapy services and programs. This involves leveraging your expertise to enhance our offerings and cater to a diverse range of patient and community populations.

🎯 Requirements

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in good standing with the relevant licensing board.
• Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience providing individual psychotherapy to adults with a range of mental health conditions.
• Proficiency in utilizing telehealth platforms and electronic health record (EHR) systems for session delivery and documentation.
• Strong understanding of LGBTQIA+ affirming care principles and experience working with LGBTQIA+ individuals.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills.
