- • The Partner AI Deployment Engineer - AWS role is a strategic technical leadership position focused on driving the safe and effective deployment of Generative AI applications through OpenAI’s partnership with AWS, enabling enterprise customers to move from experimentation to production-scale AI systems.
- • Day to day, the role involves serving as the senior technical counterpart to AWS field leadership, shaping joint account strategy, leading complex enterprise engagements from ideation to production, designing end-to-end AI architectures, building prototypes and reference implementations, and enabling AWS and partner teams through scalable technical motions like workshops and playbooks.
- • The AI Deployment Engineering team serves as trusted technical advisors, helping customers and partners navigate the deployment of Generative AI applications, with a focus on scaling impact across AWS ecosystems through repeatable systems and partner enablement.
- • In this role, you will learn to operate at the intersection of deep technical expertise and ecosystem leadership, shaping OpenAI’s engagement models with AWS, influencing product roadmap through field feedback, and mastering the balance between hands-on building and strategic influence to drive scalable, secure, and production-ready GenAI solutions at a global scale.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years of technical consulting (or equivalent) experience managing C-level technical and business relationships with complex global organizations
- • Experience operating as a technical leader and systems thinker, not just an individual contributor
- • Ability to balance hands-on building with strategic influence and scale, knowing when to go deep technically vs. enable others to execute
- • Comfort owning ambiguous, high-visibility problem spaces and taking a long-term, ecosystem-oriented view of impact
- • Proven ability to build trust quickly with engineers, architects, and executives alike
- • Default to creating repeatable patterns, not one-off solutions
