We are a rapidly growing Series C company, backed by prominent venture capitalists, and we're seeking a talented Partner Engineer to join our expanding team. This is a unique opportunity to be a critical technical liaison, bridging the gap between our strategic partners and Parafin's internal product and engineering teams. You will play a pivotal role in shaping and scaling our technical go-to-market (GTM) function, ensuring seamless integration and ongoing success for our partners.
  • • As a Partner Engineer, you will be instrumental across the entire partnership lifecycle. This includes taking ownership of integration execution, driving post-launch growth and support, and contributing to the operational scaling of our post-sales function. This customer-facing role demands a blend of solution architecture, hands-on implementation, intricate debugging, and strategic engineering to act as the technical glue that binds our most valuable partners to Parafin's innovative financial solutions. You will report to the Partner Engineering Manager and leverage your deep technical expertise to tackle complex partner and product challenges, directly influencing Parafin's product roadmap and future direction.
  • • Your responsibilities will encompass several key areas:
  • • *Define Partner Solutions:**
  • • Lead technical discovery sessions with prospective and existing partners, meticulously evaluating the feasibility of integration approaches for diverse capital partnerships. This involves understanding their unique business needs and technical landscapes.
  • • Drive scoping sessions to collaboratively define robust and efficient integration strategies, ensuring alignment between partner requirements and Parafin's capabilities.
  • • Develop and champion a best-in-class technical pre-sales strategy and process, working closely with leadership to establish repeatable and scalable GTM motions.
  • • Create detailed architectural blueprints and comprehensive technical documentation that serve as the foundation for successful project implementation.
  • • Conduct engaging and informative product portfolio presentations, effectively advocating for the most suitable technical solutions tailored to each partner's specific needs and objectives.
  • • Develop and execute proof-of-concept (POC) projects to rigorously demonstrate the feasibility, effectiveness, and value proposition of Parafin's embedded finance solutions in real-world scenarios.
  • • *Own Partner Implementations:**
  • • Scale the technical onboarding process with a relentless focus on minimizing the time it takes for partners to integrate with Parafin's suite of products. This may involve developing and deploying internal or partner-facing tools to streamline and automate the onboarding workflow.
  • • Drive the end-to-end technical implementation of new capital product launches, from initial planning and partner coordination through meticulous issue resolution, comprehensive testing, and successful go-live.
  • • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for identifying and debugging critical issues, orchestrating prompt and effective resolutions by coordinating efforts between internal engineering teams and external platform partners.
  • • Where necessary, design and deliver tailored technical solutions to address unique or complex partner integration requirements, ensuring a high degree of customization and flexibility.
  • • Meticulously document all integration details and processes, both for internal knowledge transfer and for partner reference, ensuring ease of support and maintenance as our partner ecosystem expands.
  • • Act as the crucial internal advocate for our partners, capturing valuable integration learnings, feedback, and pain points to directly influence the product roadmap, API design, and overall platform enhancements.
  • • *Scale Partner Support & Operations:**
  • • Provide proactive, partner-focused support, diligently monitoring the stability and performance of integrations post-launch.
  • • Deliver ongoing technical account management to ensure sustained partner success, focusing on optimizing existing integrations, identifying opportunities for expanded product usage, and swiftly resolving any integration-related challenges.
  • • Drive the development and implementation of tooling and automation to scale repeatable integration patterns, increasing efficiency and reducing manual effort.
  • • Collaborate closely with Product and Platform teams to evolve partner-facing assets, documentation, and resources based on real-world partner needs and feedback.
  • • Instrument telemetry, logs, and dashboards to effectively monitor partner integrations at scale, enabling early detection of potential issues and performance optimization.
  • • Uphold the highest standards for technical documentation across the company and champion the management and continuous improvement of our public-facing documentation, ensuring clarity and accessibility for all users.
  • • Contribute to building a scalable and best-in-class technical GTM function that supports Parafin's rapid growth and market leadership in embedded finance.
