📋 Description

• As a Payment Integration Analyst at Onhires Inc., you will play a critical role in enabling seamless payment processing for merchants operating in complex, high-growth markets across Africa, Latin America, and Europe. Your work directly impacts transaction success rates by ensuring new and existing payment integrations are technically sound, secure, and aligned with business needs—helping the company convert where others fail through AI-driven optimization and deep regional expertise.
• You will be responsible for researching, analyzing, and documenting payment provider systems to support smooth integration with the platform, bridging the gap between technical implementation and business requirements while maintaining high standards of quality, security, and compliance in fast-evolving financial ecosystems.
• Day to day, you will study payment provider documentation including APIs, authentication mechanisms (tokens, signatures, certificates), and workflow limitations to assess provider suitability for integration.
• You will analyze end-to-end payment flows—covering charges, refunds, subscriptions—and evaluate security measures such as 3D Secure and card tokenization, while verifying how payment status notifications (e.g., webhooks) are handled.
• Using tools like Postman, you will build and validate API requests, test signatures, prepare request collections, and work within sandbox environments to ensure functionality before development begins.
• You will write detailed technical specifications for developers, create field and error mapping tables, design process flow diagrams (using UML/BPMN), and produce validation checklists to guide implementation and post-launch support.
• Collaboration is key: you will work closely with developers, QA engineers, and integration managers to clarify requirements during development, conduct demos, support acceptance testing, and maintain up-to-date documentation in Confluence and Jira.
• You will also prepare test scenarios, assist in troubleshooting integration issues, and update documentation when providers release changes or new versions.
• The team operates at the intersection of fintech innovation and global payment infrastructure, supporting a platform that leverages real-time AI routing and deep analytics to maximize transaction success in regions where payment infrastructure is fragmented or unreliable.
• This role offers significant growth potential in the fintech domain, allowing you to deepen your expertise in payment systems, influence technical decisions, and gain hands-on experience with international providers and cutting-edge payment technologies.

🎯 Requirements

• 1.5–2 years of experience as an analyst in fintech, payments, or a related domain.
• Solid understanding of payment systems, including card payments, alternative payment methods, 3D Secure, and settlement processes.
• Proven experience working with REST APIs, JSON/XML formats, and the ability to read and interpret complex API documentation.
• Proficiency in using Postman for API testing, including validating request signatures and managing test collections.
• Familiarity with security concepts such as HMAC/RSA request signing and token-based authentication (OAuth, JWT).
• Ability to write clear technical requirements, including user stories and acceptance criteria, for development teams.
• Experience creating diagrams and process flows using UML, BPMN, or similar modeling techniques.
• Basic SQL skills for data validation and querying.
• Hands-on experience with Jira for task tracking and Confluence for documentation.
• English proficiency at B1 (Intermediate) level or higher.
