- • Acquire new merchant clients across key verticals including Retail, Hospitality, Healthcare, and Public Sector through direct sales engagement.
- • Conduct product demonstrations to articulate the value proposition of MPS payment solutions to prospective clients.
- • Manage and nurture a robust sales pipeline using Salesforce and other CRM tools to drive pipeline growth and conversion.
- • Negotiate pricing structures and contract terms to successfully close deals and meet revenue targets.
- • Build and maintain long-term, trusted advisor relationships with existing clients to enhance satisfaction and reduce churn.
- • Execute customer retention strategies focused on increasing client lifetime value and loyalty.
- • Identify and pursue high-growth geographic markets and industry verticals within the Southern U.S. territory.
- • Stay current on industry trends, competitive dynamics, and regulatory changes impacting merchant services and payment processing.
- • Ensure full compliance with internal controls, promotional offer guidelines, and company policies during all sales activities.
- • Maintain accurate and timely records of all customer interactions, sales activities, and pipeline updates in CRM systems.
- • Travel locally within assigned territory (Alabama, Louisiana, or Mississippi) to meet with clients and prospects in person.
- • Operate as a home-based role with required local travel to support client acquisition and relationship management.
- • Collaborate with internal teams to align client needs with MPS platform capabilities and U.S. Bank distribution channels.
- • Contribute to the transformation of MPS from legacy partnership models to a high-performance direct sales distribution strategy.
- • Represent U.S. Bank and Elavon with professionalism, integrity, and adherence to the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- • Two to three years of relevant sales experience
- • Ability to travel within assigned territory (Alabama, Louisiana, or Mississippi)
