Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • As our Payroll Analyst, you'll own payroll from end to end and make sure every colleague is paid accurately and on time, every time.
- • It's a hands-on role with genuine scope to shape how we work. Alongside running the monthly cycle, you'll be central to improving our payroll processes and implementing a new payroll provider, so you'll be building the setup we run on next as well as the one we run on now.
- • We're keen to move quickly. We'd like the successful candidate to start in early autumn with a full handover from the person currently in post, so we're especially interested in hearing from people who are immediately available or on a short notice period. We're happy to talk about part time hours for the right person.
- • Coordinating end to end payroll processing across the full monthly cycle
- • Making sure payroll inputs, reports, calculations and employee changes are accurate, complete and submitted on time
- • Maintaining payroll data and documentation, and reconciling payroll reports
- • Ensuring compliance with tax and employment legislation, GDPR and internal controls
- • Managing pensions and other benefits, including joiners, leavers and contribution changes
- • Responding to payroll queries promptly and professionally, delivering an excellent service to employees and stakeholders across the business
- • Providing information for compliance submissions, audits, PSA and ONS returns
- • Supporting payroll improvements and the implementation of a new payroll provider
🎯 Requirements
- • Experience in payroll processing
- • Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, statutory requirements and compliance obligations
- • Strong attention to detail and a high bar for accuracy
- • Good organisational skills and the ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
🏖️ Benefits
- • Equal Opportunity Employer
- • Salary: £30,000 to £45,000 depending on experience [pro rata for part time hours]
