  • • As a Payroll & Benefits Analyst at Bjak Sdn. Bhd., you will ensure accurate, timely, and compliant payroll and benefits execution across Malaysia and selected overseas entities, playing a critical role in supporting employee trust and organizational compliance.
  • • You will own end-to-end monthly payroll processing, including validating inputs such as joiners, exits, allowances, incentives, claims, attendance, and deductions, while managing statutory submissions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, income tax) and ensuring adherence to local labour laws.
  • • You will join a densely talented, highly motivated team focused on engineering and product excellence within a flat organization, collaborating closely with People Ops, HRBPs, Finance, and external vendors to support BJAK’s scaling mission across markets.
  • • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in multi-country payroll operations, strengthen your analytical and compliance skills, and contribute to process improvements through automation, SOP refinement, and HRIS integration, positioning yourself for growth in global HR operations.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Experience in payroll operations, preferably covering multi-country or regional payroll
  • • Strong understanding of Malaysian payroll legislation and statutory requirements (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, income tax)
  • • Hands-on experience with payroll systems, HRIS tools, and spreadsheets
  • • High attention to detail, accuracy, and strong problem-solving ability
  • • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
  • • Strong coordination skills to work effectively with HR, Finance, and external vendors
