📋 Description

• The Payroll Coordinator ensures accurate and timely payment processing for a distributed workforce of 300–500 employees, supporting the financial operations of WeLoglobal Inc.’s global data division, Welo Data, which provides multilingual data and evaluation services for GenAI systems.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include collecting and verifying timesheets, overtime logs, and attendance records; processing payments on schedule; reconciling payroll runs; tracking overtime and PTO accruals; resolving finance tickets within SLAs; maintaining detailed spreadsheets and reports; and ensuring data accuracy through validation and audit trails.
• The role operates within the Operations team, working closely with the Operations Manager in a fast-growing, globally distributed company that leverages a network of 500,000+ vetted experts across 300+ languages to support AI development with integrity and cultural precision.
• This position offers the opportunity to build foundational expertise in payroll and finance operations, develop advanced spreadsheet and reporting skills, gain experience in process improvement and automation, and grow into broader operations or finance roles within a mission-driven, innovative organization.

🎯 Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in payroll processing, accounts payable, finance operations, or an administrative role requiring strong attention to detail
• Hands-on experience managing large spreadsheets (500+ rows) and using advanced formulas such as VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and pivot tables
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, including data validation, filtering, and building reports or dashboards that make financial data clear and actionable
