- • The PB Epic Claim Processor acts as a liaison for hospitals and clinics using TruBridge’s complete business office services, ensuring accurate and timely billing and collection of insurance claims.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and submitting hospital, physician, and clinic claims to insurance carriers electronically or by hard copy, securing required medical documentation, following up on unpaid claims, processing claim rejections, and managing denials until payment is received.
- • The role involves reading and interpreting Explanation of Benefits (EOBs), responding to insurance inquiries, reviewing late charge and readmission reports, resolving credit balances, and ensuring zero-error claim submissions with timely follow-up.
- • The position supports TruBridge’s mission to optimize revenue cycle management for healthcare providers by maintaining high production and quality standards, protecting confidential patient information, and delivering consistent customer service aligned with client-specific policies.
- • The individual will develop expertise in PB Epic EHR systems, full-cycle revenue cycle management (RCM), medical coding (CPT/ICD-10), insurance claim adjudication, and denial resolution while working with high-profile healthcare clients and contributing to team projects under billing management guidance.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3 years of recent Critical Access or Acute Care facility and professional claim billing experience
- • PB Epic E.H.R experience required
- • Full Cycle RCM experience required
- • Experience in CPT and ICD-10 coding
- • Familiarity with medical terminology
- • Ability to communicate with various insurance payers
- • Experience filing claim appeals with insurance companies to ensure maximum reimbursement
- • Strong written and verbal communication skills
- • Ability to multi-task and manage high-volume workloads
- • Responsible use of confidential information
