- • The Peer Mentor - CST (Remote) role at Equip Health Inc. is a vital part of a multidisciplinary care team dedicated to helping individuals recover from eating disorders through evidence-based, virtual treatment. This role matters because Peer Mentors provide lived-experience-based support that builds rapport, fosters motivation, and delivers practical skills essential to lasting recovery.
- • Day to day, the Peer Mentor will maintain an updated calendar for patient session bookings, conduct virtual 1:1 sessions tailored to individual patient needs using active listening and motivational interviewing, co-facilitate support groups for patients and their families, practice responsible self-disclosure based on lived recovery experience, complete timely and thorough clinical documentation, attend internal meetings and training sessions, and perform other duties as assigned.

- • In this role, the Peer Mentor will deepen their skills in evidence-based modalities such as Family-Based Treatment, Enhanced CBT, and CBT for ARFID through robust training and supervision. They will gain experience in multidisciplinary collaboration, documentation standards, and remote patient engagement while contributing to meaningful clinical outcomes and personal growth in the eating disorder recovery field.
