Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own end-to-end recruiting analytics infrastructure, building and maintaining real-time, self-serve dashboards for funnel health, stage conversion rates, time-to-fill, offer acceptance rates, pipeline aging, interview effectiveness, and recruiter capacity using data from Ashby and Snowflake.
- • Translate hiring targets into quantitative pipeline models that calculate required volume by stage, estimated time-to-close, and roles falling behind plan, directly linking them to recruiter capacity and prioritization to enable proactive leadership decisions.
- • Define, document, and standardize core recruiting metrics to establish a single source of truth that Recruiting leadership and cross-functional partners can consistently rely on for alignment and decision-making.
- • Act as a strategic partner in pipeline reviews and QBRs by delivering crisp, actionable analysis with clear recommendations — identifying bottlenecks, explaining trends, and proposing tests — rather than presenting static slide decks.
- • Use data to identify systemic drag in recruiting processes, calibration practices, or prioritization frameworks, and partner with Recruiting and Finance teams to implement data-driven improvements.
- • Leverage AI tools daily to accelerate query iteration, perform metric QA, and draft concise insight narratives, while ensuring all underlying logic, definitions, and models remain clean, auditable, and transparent.
- • Structure and document all analytics workflows, knowledge, and dashboards within Notion using databases, views, and linked documentation to ensure accessibility, trust, and scalability for teammates and future contributors.
- • Build and maintain predictive headcount and velocity models that forecast hiring outcomes based on historical conversion rates, pipeline volume, and recruiter bandwidth, enabling leaders to anticipate gaps and adjust strategy in real time.
- • Ensure all reporting is decision-grade: validate data quality, audit for anomalies, and continuously refine models to reflect evolving hiring patterns and organizational priorities.
- • Collaborate closely with recruiters and hiring managers to understand their pain points and translate operational challenges into measurable analytics initiatives that drive efficiency and outcomes.
- • Stay current with recruiting industry benchmarks and incorporate best practices into Notion’s analytics framework while tailoring metrics to the company’s unique hiring context and AI-augmented workflows.
- • Maintain a strong focus on usability: design dashboards and reports that are intuitive, visually clear, and actionable for non-technical stakeholders across Recruiting and leadership.
- • Champion a culture of data literacy within Recruiting by enabling teams to explore data independently through self-serve tools and clear documentation, reducing dependency on ad-hoc requests.
- • Use AI not as a novelty but as a core collaborator — applying it to automate repetitive analysis tasks, generate hypothesis-driven insights, and improve the speed and quality of decision-making without compromising rigor.
- • Ensure all analytics work adheres to ethical and audit-ready standards, with transparent lineage from raw data to final insights, supporting compliance and trust across the organization.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven ability to build analytics dashboards and models that teams rely on for weekly operational decisions, not just one-off reports
- • Strong SQL skills and data modeling judgment to write complex queries, debug data issues, and build maintainable, trustworthy pipelines
- • Experience translating recruiting stages into quantitative funnel math and capacity models to forecast hiring velocity and identify bottlenecks
- • Strategic partner instincts: ability to anticipate leadership questions, deliver actionable insights, and drive recommendations based on data
- • AI-fluent with practical experience using AI tools to accelerate analysis, QA, and narrative drafting while maintaining auditability
- • Comfort building and documenting workflows, databases, and knowledge systems within Notion to enable self-service and collaboration
🏖️ Benefits
- • Competitive cash compensation ranging from $210,000 to $260,000 base salary for roles based in San Francisco or New York City
- • Equity compensation as part of total rewards package
- • Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance
- • Opportunity to work alongside a team that values craft, human-centered design, and building lasting systems
