  • • Serve as the primary strategic People partner to 60+ staff and 20+ managers across Kruze Consulting’s fully-remote, 180-person organization, coaching leaders to build and sustain high-performing teams that deliver exceptional service to 750+ venture-backed startups.
  • • Own the full performance management lifecycle—goal-setting, quarterly check-ins, continuous feedback, and annual reviews—leveraging our new 15Five platform to embed a culture of transparency, accountability, and rapid development.
  • • Act as the first line of support for employee relations matters, conducting prompt, empathetic, and legally compliant investigations and resolutions that protect both the individual and the firm.
  • • Design and deliver scalable career-pathing and mobility programs that enable team members to grow from staff accountant to senior manager and beyond, aligning individual aspirations with business needs.
  • • Champion employee engagement by analyzing pulse-survey data, facilitating action-planning sessions, and partnering with the Culture & Events squad to produce virtual and optional in-person experiences that reinforce our Kaizen, Integrity, Collaboration, Caring, and Strategic values.
  • • Curate and facilitate learning & development offerings—from micro-learning Slack posts to multi-week cohort programs—targeting both technical accounting skills and critical soft skills such as remote leadership, feedback, and DEI&B.
  • • Embed diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging into every people process, ensuring equitable access to promotions, stretch assignments, and recognition; partner with ERGs and external partners to keep initiatives fresh and measurable.
  • • Co-lead the rollout of EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) across the firm, translating EOS principles into people practices that clarify roles, set compelling 90-day Rocks, and institutionalize weekly Level-10 meetings.
  • • Craft crisp, engaging internal communications that demystify policy changes, celebrate wins, and maintain human connection across time zones; manage the #people-team Slack channel and quarterly All-Hands segments.
  • • Collaborate closely—but without day-to-day ownership—with the People Operations centers of excellence who run compensation, benefits, HRIS, and recruiting, ensuring seamless hand-offs and a unified employee experience.
  • • In your first 30 days, complete a listening tour with every client group, map the informal influence networks, and document quick-win opportunities; by day 60, pilot at least one manager-coaching clinic and finalize the 15Five rollout roadmap; by day 90, present a 6-month engagement and retention action plan to the VP, People and the executive team.
  • • Model healthy remote-work practices: proactive documentation, asynchronous updates, clear calendar hygiene, and empathetic video presence; mentor others to build the discipline, boundaries, and emotional intelligence required for distributed high performance.
  • • Contribute to cross-functional projects such as annual goal-setting, succession planning, and compliance audits, bringing a people lens that balances risk mitigation with growth enablement.
  • • Continuously scan the external market for innovative people practices—especially those proven in professional-services, high-growth, and remote-first environments—and adapt them for Kruze’s unique culture and client demands.
