Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • As a People Business Partner at Legora, you will serve as a senior strategic advisor to leadership, safeguarding performance integrity, accountability, and employment governance as the company scales across markets. You will ensure that growth does not compromise fairness or decision quality by acting as the escalation point for complex, high-risk employee relations matters while also intervening early to prevent escalation through clear expectations and consistent leadership accountability.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include owning complex employee relations matters end-to-end—such as performance improvement processes, investigations, disciplinary actions, terminations, and sensitive absence cases—ensuring fair, consistent, and defensible outcomes; partnering with leaders on performance standards, calibration, and organizational decisions to safeguard consistency and documentation quality across teams; advising and guiding leadership through organizational changes, restructurings, and structural shifts with a focus on legal compliance, risk mitigation, and disciplined execution; intervening early in performance or conduct concerns to strengthen manager capability and address issues before formal escalation; advising on labour law and employment risk across multiple European jurisdictions to enable commercially sound and compliant decision-making; and strengthening scalable governance by refining ER processes, documentation standards, and structural safeguards that support disciplined, high-integrity growth.
- • You will join a mission-driven team at Legora, an AI-native legal tech company trusted by global law firms including Cleary Gottlieb, Goodwin, Bird & Bird, and Linklaters across over 40 countries. Legora is building technology with lawyers—not just for them—to redefine how legal work gets done through intelligent workflows, rapid document analysis, and human-centered innovation. The company operates with a bias for action, iterative scaling, and a commitment to excellence, where 'good enough' is never sufficient and success is achieved through collective empowerment.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in strategic HRBP and employee relations within a high-growth, high-stakes environment, shaping the operational foundations of a scaling tech company. You will gain direct exposure to founders and senior leadership, influence how performance, discipline, and compliance are embedded into the company’s DNA, and develop scalable governance models that balance speed with integrity—positioning you as a key architect of Legora’s people infrastructure as it expands globally.
🎯 Requirements
- • 7+ years of experience in HRBP, Employee Relations, or labour law, preferably in a fast-paced or high-growth environment
- • Proven experience managing complex and sensitive employee relations matters independently, including performance processes, investigations, terminations, and restructurings
- • Strong knowledge of Swedish employment law with comfort navigating additional European jurisdictions and partnering with Legal counsel when required
- • Demonstrated ability to advise leaders on performance standards, calibration, and organizational decisions while maintaining consistency, accountability, and documentation quality
- • Experience supporting organizational changes, business integrations, or structural shifts, with a focus on risk mitigation and disciplined execution
- • Calm under pressure, with sound judgment in ambiguous situations and the confidence to challenge senior stakeholders when standards or accountability are at risk
🏖️ Benefits
- • Competitive salary package aligned with market standards for senior HR leadership roles in Stockholm
- • Transparent and highly competitive equity package, offering meaningful ownership in a fast-scaling legal tech innovator
- • Centrally located Stockholm HQ office designed for focused work and close collaboration, supporting both productivity and team cohesion
- • Opportunity to work directly with founders and senior leadership on high-impact people matters that shape the company’s operational backbone
- • Exposure to global legal tech innovation, working with a mission-driven team trusted by top-tier law firms across 40+ countries
- • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion as an Equal Opportunity Employer fostering an inclusive, high-performance culture
