📋 Description
- • As a People Manager (Generalist) at Pave Bank, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the People function from the ground up, directly supporting the company’s mission to build financial infrastructure for a new generation of global users by aligning talent strategy with business growth.
- • You will own end-to-end recruitment, manage day-to-day People operations including payroll and compliance, develop HR policies from scratch, act as a trusted advisor on employee relations, and partner strategically with leadership on organisational design and scaling initiatives.
- • You will join a high-calibre, builder-minded People team at Pave Bank, where the function is viewed as a core driver of scale — not just support — and where you’ll have the autonomy to build systems, processes, and culture in a fast-paced, high-growth fintech environment.
- • In this role, you will gain end-to-end ownership of the People function in a global startup context, develop expertise in multi-jurisdictional compliance and global hiring, and grow as a strategic HR leader capable of influencing business outcomes through people-centric initiatives.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5–8 years of experience in People / HR, with strong exposure to recruitment, operations, and generalist responsibilities
- • Proven experience building People functions, processes, and policies from 0 to 1 in a startup or high-growth scale-up environment
- • Strong experience working in globally distributed teams and hiring across multiple geographies
- • Demonstrated fluency in global hiring practices and international talent markets
- • Strong understanding of Singapore and Malaysia Employment Act; exposure to additional international employment frameworks is a plus
- • Hands-on experience managing payroll and ensuring multi-country compliance
- • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across diverse, international teams
- • Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
- • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
