- • Lead the HR workstream for establishing new legal entities in international markets including the US, Germany, Portugal, Spain, UK, and beyond, ensuring full compliance with local labor laws and employment regulations.
- • Negotiate and coordinate with local legal counsel, payroll providers, and accountants to design and implement compliant employment frameworks tailored to each new market.
- • Define and document localized employment contracts, benefits structures, onboarding processes, and offboarding procedures for each country of operation.
- • Manage relationships with Professional Employer Organizations (PEOs) and Employer of Record (EOR) providers in markets where local entities are not yet established.
- • Serve as the primary point of contact for local teams in all international offices regarding HR, finance, and administrative matters.
- • Own the end-to-end process for employee international relocations and assignments, including visa and work permit applications, contract amendments, tax coordination, and relocation support.
- • Administer core HR operations across all entities: managing employment contracts, amendments, onboarding, offboarding, and payroll coordination with external consultants in each country.
- • Build and maintain scalable HR processes and documentation that function effectively across multiple legal jurisdictions and cultural contexts.
- • Ensure ongoing compliance with labor laws in all active markets, including France, the US, Germany, Portugal, Spain, and the UK.
- • Support recruitment efforts by coordinating with the Talent Acquisition team across global offices.
- • Contribute to the development and consistency of Dedale’s company culture across international teams.
- • Assist in the execution of the annual performance review cycle and conduct compensation benchmarking across geographies to ensure market competitiveness.
- • Work directly with the Head of HR, Head of Finance, COO, and Chief of Staff to align HR strategy with company growth objectives.
- • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and compliance documentation across all international locations.
- • Act as the liaison between internal teams and external legal and payroll partners in France, the US, Portugal, Spain, Germany, and other jurisdictions.
- • Proactively identify and resolve operational bottlenecks in international HR processes to enable seamless scaling of the organization.
- • Stay current on evolving labor regulations and immigration policies in all active and target markets to mitigate legal and compliance risks.
- • Support employee experience initiatives that foster inclusion and engagement across diverse, multinational teams.
- • Collaborate with finance and legal teams to align payroll structures, tax obligations, and benefits packages with local requirements.
- • Maintain a high standard of confidentiality and data privacy in handling sensitive employee information across borders.
- • Drive continuous improvement in HR operations by implementing tools, templates, and systems that enhance efficiency and scalability.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4–6 years of HR operations experience, with at least 2–3 years in an international or multi-entity environment
- • Proven experience setting up HR practices in a new country or subsidiary
- • Hands-on knowledge of French labour law (essential) and working knowledge of at least one other jurisdiction (US, Germany, Portugal, Spain)
- • Experience managing international mobility — visas, work permits, détachement, relocation
- • Comfortable working directly with senior leadership in a fast-moving environment
- • Fluent in English and French
