- • Own end-to-end People Operations for a globally distributed workforce, managing employee queries, onboarding, offboarding, contracts, benefits, and HR systems
- • Partner with the People team to deliver key programs including performance reviews, engagement surveys, compensation cycles, and probation tracking
- • Build, improve, and standardize workflows, processes, and self-service experiences to ensure clarity, consistency, and scalability across the employee lifecycle
- • Maintain accurate and actionable people data in BambooHR, supporting reporting and ensuring team visibility into critical HR metrics
- • Ensure core People Operations remain compliant, organized, and audit-ready through proper documentation, training, and record-keeping
- • Collaborate closely with Finance, IT, People Partners, and external vendors to coordinate payroll inputs, EOR processes, and vendor management
- • Identify and eliminate manual, repetitive, or unclear processes by introducing automation, systems, and data-driven solutions to improve efficiency
- • Proactively spot friction points in the employee experience and lead initiatives to simplify, humanize, and streamline interactions across the organization
- • Support the growth of Masabi by scaling People Operations in alignment with company expansion, particularly in remote and international contexts
- • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment practices relevant to UK and EMEA regions to ensure local compliance and appropriate policy application
- • Act as a trusted point of contact for employees and managers, providing empathetic, judgment-driven support during sensitive or complex situations
- • Embrace technology, including AI and automation tools, to reduce administrative burden and enhance the overall employee experience
- • Take ownership of HR systems and tools, quickly learning new platforms and adapting processes to evolving business needs
- • Contribute to building a culture of openness, trust, and authenticity where employees feel empowered to bring their whole selves to work
- • Support diversity and inclusion efforts by facilitating accommodations for underrepresented groups, including disabled and neurodivergent candidates, at all stages of the employee journey
🎯 Requirements
- • Experience in People Operations, HR Operations, or HR Generalist roles with end-to-end ownership
- • Proficiency with HR systems (e.g., BambooHR), spreadsheets, and data to organize workflows and support decision-making
- • Proven ability to build, improve, and scale processes in fast-growing or evolving environments
- • Strong self-direction and proactive mindset—identifying gaps and taking initiative without waiting for direction
- • Empathy and sound judgment in handling sensitive employee matters
- • Comfort working with remote and globally distributed teams
