📋 Description

• Serve as the primary point of contact for People Operations initiatives across Curai Health’s remote-first organization, ensuring seamless execution of HR processes and employee experience programs.
• Manage and optimize the company’s HR information systems (HRIS), including onboarding, offboarding, payroll integrations, benefits administration, and employee record maintenance.
• Coordinate end-to-end employee lifecycle processes from offer acceptance through exit, ensuring compliance with U.S. employment regulations and internal policies.
• Partner with hiring managers to support recruitment operations, including scheduling interviews, managing applicant tracking systems, and maintaining candidate pipeline data integrity.
• Maintain and update employee handbooks, policies, and internal documentation to reflect current company practices and legal requirements.
• Administer and troubleshoot employee benefits enrollment, including health, dental, vision, 401(k), and wellness programs, serving as the main liaison between employees and benefits providers.
• Generate and analyze HR metrics and reports to support data-driven decision-making in talent acquisition, retention, and workforce planning.
• Implement and improve HR workflows and automation tools to increase operational efficiency and reduce manual administrative burden.
• Ensure all HR documentation and employee records are securely stored, compliant with HIPAA and other healthcare data privacy standards.
• Collaborate with leadership to design and roll out employee engagement initiatives, including feedback surveys, recognition programs, and virtual team-building activities.
• Provide first-line support for employee inquiries related to HR policies, compensation, time off, and workplace resources.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal and state employment laws affecting remote workers across multiple U.S. jurisdictions.
• Support diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts by tracking demographic data (where voluntarily provided) and assisting in the development of inclusive hiring and retention practices.
• Act as a trusted advisor to employees and managers on HR-related matters, ensuring consistent and equitable application of company policies.
• Coordinate with external vendors for HR technology, background checks, EAP services, and training platforms to ensure optimal service delivery.
• Participate in cross-functional projects to align People Operations with company goals in scaling a remote, AI-driven healthcare organization.

🎯 Requirements

• Proficiency in HRIS platforms (e.g., BambooHR, Workday, Greenhouse) and HR data management
• Experience managing full-cycle HR operations in a remote-first environment
• Strong understanding of U.S. employment law and compliance requirements for remote workers
• Proven ability to handle sensitive employee data with strict confidentiality and HIPAA awareness
• Experience with benefits administration, payroll coordination, and 401(k) plan management
• Ability to analyze HR metrics and translate data into actionable insights
