We are seeking a dedicated and proactive People Operations Generalist to join our growing team and play a pivotal role in supporting our People function and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the department. This role is crucial for delivering an exceptional employee experience, from the moment a new team member joins through their entire tenure with Eigen Labs, and is instrumental in fostering our unique culture.
• • As a People Operations Generalist, you will be the linchpin for many critical HR processes, acting as a primary point of contact for employees and managers regarding People Ops inquiries and support. Your responsibilities will span the entire employee lifecycle, ensuring a seamless, compliant, and human-centered experience at every stage. This includes taking ownership of the onboarding process, meticulously managing employee records, facilitating role transitions, and handling offboarding procedures with sensitivity and efficiency.
• • A significant part of your role will involve supporting our performance management framework. You will partner closely with the VP of People and people managers to ensure that performance review cycles, documentation, feedback mechanisms, and employee development conversations are conducted effectively and consistently. Your efforts will help guarantee that performance expectations are clearly communicated, fairly assessed, and equitably applied across the organization, contributing to a culture of growth and accountability.
• • You will be the guardian of our People Operations administration, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of employee data. This involves maintaining up-to-date employee records, processing new hires and employment changes, managing employment verifications, and ensuring our People systems and tools are robust and reliable. Your attention to detail here is paramount to our operational efficiency and compliance.
• • Driving continuous improvement will be a key aspect of your contribution. You will own and manage our People Notion Hub and all related documentation, ensuring that information is clear, current, easily accessible, and reflects our evolving processes. You will proactively identify opportunities to streamline and enhance People processes, workflows, and systems, specifically tailored to support a rapidly scaling, distributed team. Your insights will directly shape how we operate and support our employees.
• • You will also be a key partner in cultivating our vibrant company culture and fostering employee engagement. This includes supporting company-wide events, assisting with employee programs, and actively contributing to initiatives that promote a connected, inclusive, and values-driven work environment. Your efforts will help ensure that Eigen Labs remains a place where everyone feels valued, supported, and empowered to do their best work.
• • For our Seattle-based team, you will oversee day-to-day office operations. This encompasses managing vendor relationships, ensuring adequate office supplies, coordinating basic IT needs, and generally creating a welcoming, functional, and productive workplace experience for all employees and visitors.
