Full Job Description

đź“‹ Description

  • • Be the go-to People Partner for a dynamic portfolio of client-facing teams across Jellyfish’s London hub, translating ambitious commercial goals into pragmatic, people-first strategies that accelerate growth and safeguard culture.
  • • Act as a trusted advisor to directors and senior managers, coaching them on everything from organisational design and succession planning to inclusive leadership and high-performance habits—always balancing commercial realities with empathy and legal rigour.
  • • Own end-to-end employee-relations casework—performance, absence, conduct, grievance, and redundancy—delivering fair, consistent, and legally compliant outcomes that protect both our people and our reputation.
  • • Translate people data into compelling stories: mine our HRIS, engagement surveys, and exit-interview insights to spot trends, diagnose risks, and recommend targeted interventions that lift retention, productivity, and belonging.
  • • Co-lead workforce-planning cycles with Finance and the Senior People Partner, modelling headcount scenarios, identifying critical-skill gaps, and designing resourcing strategies that flex with client demand and market shifts.
  • • Partner with L&D and DEI specialists to embed leadership programmes, wellbeing initiatives, and learning pathways that scale across EMEA, ensuring every manager has the tools to build inclusive, high-performing teams.
  • • Continuously refine policies, playbooks, and manager toolkits—simplifying language, removing bias, and baking in automation—so that best practice is easy to find, easy to use, and easy to measure.
  • • Champion our AI experimentation agenda: pilot chatbots, predictive analytics, and workflow automations that cut admin time and free the People team for higher-value strategic work.
  • • Facilitate change-management for restructures, M&A integrations, and new ways of working, ensuring crystal-clear communications, stakeholder alignment, and minimal disruption to client delivery.
  • • Build a visible, approachable presence in the London office and on Slack, hosting drop-in clinics, manager forums, and culture events that keep our hybrid workforce connected and energised.
  • • Contribute to global People projects—such as our new performance philosophy and manager capability framework—bringing an EMEA lens and ensuring local relevance while maintaining global consistency.
  • • Keep a sharp eye on emerging UK employment-law developments, translating legislative change into practical guidance and updating policies before deadlines hit.
  • • Mentor junior People Coordinators, sharing your ER expertise and modelling the candid, curious, and kind behaviours that define Jellyfish culture.
  • • Celebrate wins loudly: spotlight team achievements in our monthly global town-hall, reinforcing the link between great people practices and exceptional client outcomes.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 4+ years in a People Advisor, People Partner, or HRBP role with proven ownership of complex employee-relations cases from intake to resolution
  • • Current, working knowledge of UK employment law and the confidence to apply it pragmatically in a fast-moving commercial environment
  • • Demonstrated ability to interpret people data and HRIS reports, turning numbers into narratives that drive decisions
  • • Experience influencing senior stakeholders and coaching managers through change, performance, and culture challenges
  • • Nice-to-have: hands-on experimentation with AI-driven HR tools or process-automation platforms

🏖️ Benefits

  • • Discretionary annual bonus scheme tied to company and individual performance
  • • Work remotely up to 60 % of your days with flexible core hours between 8 am and 6:30 pm
  • • One paid development day every month (2 hours per week) plus full access to Jellyfish Learn’s curated content library
  • • 14 weeks fully paid leave for primary caregivers and 4 weeks for secondary caregivers, plus ÂŁ1,000 learning grant for returning primary caregivers
