Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Embed as a dedicated People Partner within FluidStack’s operations departments, supporting leaders managing infrastructure, physical operations, and cross-functional teams across office and field environments.
- • Coach managers through difficult performance conversations, feedback delivery, and team-level decision-making by working alongside them in real-time, not through training or compliance frameworks.
- • Map and assess current people practices across operations teams—including performance management, onboarding, retention, and team dynamics—to identify systemic gaps and opportunities for improvement.
- • Partner with the central People team to adapt and roll out new HR systems (performance, engagement, onboarding) in ways that align with the unique pressures of operational delivery timelines and physical site dependencies.
- • Proactively surface department-level people risks to the broader People team with clear framing, data-informed context, and actionable next steps.
- • Establish and maintain a regular check-in rhythm with department leadership to build trust, anticipate challenges, and provide timely support.
- • Foster a growth mindset culture by asking probing questions, delivering nuanced feedback, and helping managers develop their people leadership skills holistically.
- • Advocate for employees while holding teams accountable, balancing empathy with organizational outcomes in high-pressure, rapidly scaling environments.
- • Travel regularly to FluidStack’s offices and operational sites to build relationships, observe team dynamics firsthand, and ensure people strategies are grounded in operational reality.
- • Serve as a trusted advisor to operations leaders, becoming the go-to partner for people-related challenges rather than a compliance function.
- • Focus on long-term people health: identifying retention risks, development gaps, and team dynamics before they escalate into crises.
- • Drive adoption of People systems by ensuring they are not just deployed but meaningfully integrated into daily workflows of operations teams.
- • Support employees through career transitions and help leaders design team structures that enhance performance and scalability.
- • Prioritize the human impact in all decisions, ensuring that how work gets done is as valued as what gets accomplished.
- • Contribute to building a culture where employees can do their life’s best work by designing systems and experiences that reflect FluidStack’s mission of expanding human freedom through AI infrastructure.
🎯 Requirements
- • Demonstrated experience as an HR Business Partner, People Partner, or similar embedded role supporting operations or go-to-market teams
- • Proven ability to coach managers on performance conversations and team development, not just administer HR processes
- • Deep understanding of infrastructure, field operations, or site delivery environments, including scaling teams across multiple physical locations
- • Strong design thinking and problem-solving skills, with a focus on holistic solutions over quick fixes
- • Exceptional communication skills: clarity, approachability, and precision in both verbal and written interactions
- • Ability to balance accountability and empathy, especially during difficult conversations
🏖️ Benefits
- • Competitive total compensation package (salary + equity)
- • Retirement or pension plan aligned with local norms
- • Health, dental, and vision insurance
- • Generous PTO policy aligned with local norms
