  • • As a People Partner for Product & Operations at n8n, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and scaling our organization. Your primary objective is to foster a high-output, low-drag environment by establishing clear roles, robust performance standards, and empowering capable managers. You will be the strategic HR partner for 1-2 key departments, deeply embedded in their operations and challenges.
  • • Your responsibilities will span the entire employee lifecycle, from initial hiring and onboarding through to performance management, career development, retention strategies, and thoughtful exits. You will be instrumental in guiding managers through complex employee relations cases, ensuring fairness, consistency, and legal compliance. This includes leading sensitive situations such as terminations, layoffs, restructures, and interactions with works councils, always with a focus on rigorous and equitable processes.
  • • A significant part of your role will involve strengthening our unique builder culture, enhancing employee engagement, and preparing the organization for change. You will collaborate closely with managers to cultivate inclusive team cultures built on trust, psychological safety, and a strong feedback loop. By analyzing engagement survey data, you will help managers translate insights into actionable improvements that foster a positive and productive work environment. You will also champion initiatives that promote employee well-being and ensure alignment with n8n's core values.
  • • You will be a key player in supporting organizational changes, such as team growth or restructuring, ensuring clear communication and effective team-level enablement throughout the process. Your ability to translate complex organizational insights into practical, data-informed recommendations will be crucial for driving informed decision-making among managers and leadership.
  • • You will proactively identify patterns and synthesize data related to performance, engagement, attrition, and employee relations themes. This analytical approach will enable you to provide actionable, data-driven recommendations to leadership and managers, helping to refine people processes and scale successful practices.
  • • A core function of your role is to coach and enable managers. You will act as the primary People Partner, offering guidance on performance management, employee development, morale, and effective communication. You will coach managers through challenging conversations, feedback delivery, conflict resolution, and team-specific issues, always emphasizing fairness and accountability.
  • • You will build manager confidence by developing and providing informal coaching, practical playbooks, and essential toolkits that simplify the process of implementing best practices. Furthermore, you will support capability-building through targeted resources, such as micro-trainings and comprehensive manager guides, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to lead their teams effectively.
  • • Driving consistent and fair people practices across the organization is paramount. You will ensure that policies are up-to-date, clearly communicated, and applied uniformly across all teams and geographical locations. This includes guiding the performance management process, from setting clear expectations and encouraging regular feedback to managing performance reviews and addressing underperformance.
  • • You will be responsible for strengthening our culture, engagement, and readiness for change. By partnering with managers, you will help build robust, inclusive team cultures founded on trust, open feedback, and psychological safety. You will assist managers in interpreting engagement feedback and implementing concrete improvements, while championing initiatives that promote employee well-being and reinforce our values.
  • • Your role extends to supporting organizational changes, such as team expansions or re-organizations, by ensuring clear communication and effective enablement at the team level. You will translate insights derived from performance, engagement, attrition, and employee relations data into actionable strategies, providing practical, data-informed recommendations to managers and leadership.
  • • You will collaborate cross-functionally to enhance people processes, reduce operational friction, and scale effective practices throughout the company. This involves working closely with various departments to ensure that HR initiatives align with business objectives and support n8n's rapid growth trajectory.
  • • The role requires a proactive approach to identifying and addressing organizational needs, ensuring that n8n continues to be a place where builders can thrive and innovate. You will be a key advocate for our people, ensuring that our HR practices support our ambitious goals and our unique, fast-paced culture.
