📋 Description
- • Serve as a key HR partner to Sales teams, providing guidance on employee relations, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation to foster a positive and productive work environment.
- • Manage end-to-end employee onboarding processes, ensuring a seamless transition from offer acceptance to first day, including documentation, system setup, and orientation coordination.
- • Administer HR systems and maintain accurate, up-to-date employee records, including benefits enrollment, payroll data, and compliance documentation.
- • Develop, implement, and enforce HR policies and procedures aligned with legal requirements and Sierra’s core values of Trust, Customer Obsession, Craftsmanship, Intensity, and Family.
- • Design and execute employee engagement initiatives to improve satisfaction, communication, and retention across Sales functions.
- • Support organizational design efforts by structuring teams for efficiency and scalability, defining clear roles and responsibilities, and aligning talent strategy with business objectives.
- • Partner with Sales leadership to address performance, cultural, and operational challenges through coaching and data-informed HR interventions.
- • Generate and analyze HR reports to inform decision-making, track workforce metrics, and identify trends impacting team performance and morale.
- • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations across all operational regions, adapting practices to local legal frameworks where applicable.
- • Collaborate with engineering, product, and other technical teams to understand their unique people needs and deliver tailored HR support.
- • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement in HR operations, implementing scalable systems and tools to support rapid company growth.
- • Provide guidance on international HR compliance, including cross-border employment considerations and global compensation structures as the company expands.
- • Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, promoting transparency, psychological safety, and alignment with company values in daily interactions.
- • Support the implementation of total rewards programs, including equity participation, fertility and family building benefits, and discretionary stipends, ensuring equitable access across regions.
- • Contribute to the evolution of Sierra’s culture by modeling the company’s values in all HR interactions and initiatives.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of experience in human resources or people operations, ideally in a fast-growing environment supporting Sales organizations.
- • Demonstrated expertise in HR best practices, employment laws, and regulatory compliance.
- • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- • Proactive, innovative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and strategic impact.
- • Experience partnering with engineering, product, or other technical teams.
- • Hands-on experience implementing HR systems and processes in a scaling company.
