📋 Description

• This Per Diem Educational Consultant role supports Curriculum Associates’ mission to create equitable classrooms by delivering professional development and training on i-Ready and Ready programs to K–8 educators in the Kansas City, Kansas area.
• Day to day, the consultant will facilitate on-site professional development workshops, tailor training to teacher and leader needs, analyze and apply instructional data, provide lesson planning and pacing support, and engage in coaching cycles with feedback and observation.
• The team is part of a mission-driven organization of over 2,500 lifelong learners dedicated to improving education through innovative technology and educator support, working closely with the Senior Director of Professional Learning, sales, and cross-functional teams.
• In this role, the consultant will deepen expertise in K–8 curriculum and assessment, strengthen adult facilitation and data coaching skills, build relationships with school leaders, and contribute to equitable instructional practices while maintaining flexibility in a seasonal, as-needed schedule.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 2+ years of experience in teaching, coaching teachers, or delivering professional development
• Strong working knowledge of Common Core State Standards (Grades K–8) or comparable state standards, including content and practice standards
• Fluency with digital tools for online assessments and comfort discussing and applying data with educators
• Understanding of adult learning principles and ability to apply them to professional development design
• Excellent facilitation, interpersonal, communication, and time management skills with high attention to detail
• Bilingual ability preferred
