- • As a Performance Creative Designer at Directive Consulting LLC, you will be instrumental in shaping and executing the visual strategy for a leading revenue-first marketing consultancy. This role is pivotal in ensuring our brand's visual identity is not only aesthetically compelling but also highly effective in performance-driven marketing channels, complex B2B SaaS positioning, and engaging sophisticated audiences from CMOs to CFOs.
- • You will be the primary custodian of Directive's visual identity, responsible for its evolution and consistent application across all platforms and touchpoints. This includes developing and maintaining a robust, scalable design system that seamlessly integrates our three core divisions and the distinct visual thread of Stratos, our proprietary AI platform. Your work will ensure every asset is instantly recognizable as Directive, while maintaining unique visual characteristics for each component.
- • A key responsibility will be establishing and enforcing clear brand standards. You will apply these standards rigorously in your own output and guide any external contributors to ensure unwavering brand consistency. Your ability to translate complex brand positioning into a credible and sophisticated visual language, avoiding generic startup or agency aesthetics, will be crucial for resonating with a CMO-level audience.
- • In the realm of Ad Creative, you will design and produce compelling assets for Directive's extensive paid media program, spanning LinkedIn, YouTube, Meta, TikTok, and programmatic channels. This involves creating static ad units optimized for various platform specifications and aspect ratios (1:1, 9:16, 16:9), ensuring maximum impact and reach.
- • You will also be responsible for producing engaging motion graphics and short-form video cutdowns (e.g., :15, :30, :60 formats), specifically tailored for social advertising platforms and designed to capture attention within limited timeframes. This includes editing existing video assets into high-performing ad units, demonstrating proficiency in video production without requiring a dedicated editor.
- • A significant aspect of this role involves collaborating closely with the media team to interpret campaign performance data. You will leverage insights from metrics such as watch time, CTR, and scroll-stop rate to inform and iterate on creative decisions, driving continuous improvement.
- • You will actively build and execute A/B creative tests, developing variant hypotheses, designing the test assets, and analyzing the results to inform future strategies. This data-driven approach ensures that creative efforts are aligned with measurable commercial outcomes.
- • For Sales Enablement and Pitch Materials, you will design essential collateral that clearly and compellingly communicates Directive's multi-division value proposition to enterprise clients. This includes crafting pitch decks, proposal templates, one-pagers, and case study presentations that align with our sophisticated brand identity.
- • You will develop reusable sales enablement assets that the growth team can adapt independently while maintaining visual consistency. This requires creating templated solutions that balance flexibility with brand integrity.
- • Designing division-specific collateral for Performance, Communications, and Commerce, each carrying a distinct visual identity within the overarching Directive brand system, will be another key deliverable. This ensures targeted messaging and visual appeal for different client segments.
- • Partnering with strategy and growth leadership is essential to deeply understand the selling narrative for each asset before design commences. The visual structure and story structure must be intrinsically linked to create maximum persuasive impact.
- • Success in the first 30 days involves auditing existing brand assets, identifying gaps, initiating video creative briefs with defined testing hypotheses, and beginning the redesign of sales enablement templates after understanding current usage patterns.
- • Within 3 months, you will ensure Directive's paid creative program outperforms benchmarks through data-informed iteration, document and implement the brand design system, see the redesigned sales materials actively used and positively received, and establish a repeatable creative testing rhythm.
- • Performance benchmarks include achieving 25%+ average video watch length, a 10%+ ad CTR benchmark with creative iteration triggered below, maintaining a minimum of 2 active creative tests per channel, ensuring zero off-brand assets ship without review, and achieving a 4.0+ CSAT rating from internal stakeholders.
