- • As a Performance Creative Designer at Directive Consulting LLC, you will be instrumental in shaping and executing the visual strategy for a leading revenue-first marketing consultancy. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between sophisticated brand identity and high-impact performance marketing creative, serving B2B SaaS, enterprise technology, industrial, and commerce brands.
- • You will be the primary custodian of Directive's visual identity, ensuring its coherence across three distinct divisions and a proprietary AI platform, Stratos. This involves building and maintaining a scalable design system that not only ensures immediate brand recognition but also allows for nuanced differentiation across various industry verticals and the Stratos platform layer.
- • Your responsibilities will include establishing and rigorously applying clear brand standards, ensuring consistency across your own work and any external contributions. A key aspect of this role is translating complex brand positioning into a visual language that resonates credibly and sophisticatedly with a CMO-level audience, moving beyond generic startup or agency aesthetics.
- • A significant portion of your work will focus on Ad Creative for paid social, programmatic, and video channels. You will be responsible for designing and producing static ad units across all required platform specifications and aspect ratios (1:1, 9:16, 16:9) for platforms such as LinkedIn, Meta, TikTok, and programmatic display.
- • You will also produce engaging motion graphics and short-form video cutdowns in :15, :30, and :60 formats, specifically optimized for social advertising platforms and the need to capture attention quickly. This includes editing existing video assets into high-performing ad units, demonstrating the ability to take raw footage and deliver polished content without relying on a dedicated video editor.
- • Collaboration with the media team is crucial. You will interpret campaign performance data, such as watch time, CTR, and scroll-stop rate, to inform and iterate on creative decisions. This data-driven approach extends to building and executing A/B creative tests, developing variant hypotheses, designing test assets, and analyzing results to drive continuous improvement.
- • Furthermore, you will design and produce Sales Enablement & Pitch Materials essential for the growth team's success in pitching enterprise clients. This involves creating compelling pitch decks, proposal templates, one-pagers, and case study presentations that clearly articulate Directive's multi-division value proposition.
- • You will build reusable sales enablement assets that are templated for easy adaptation by the growth team, ensuring visual consistency is maintained. Developing division-specific collateral for Performance, Communications, and Commerce, each with a distinct visual identity within the broader Directive brand system, will also be a key deliverable.
- • Partnering closely with strategy and growth leadership to deeply understand the selling narrative for each asset before design commences is paramount, ensuring the story structure and visual structure are seamlessly integrated.
- • Success in the first 30 days includes auditing existing brand assets, initiating active video creative briefs with defined testing hypotheses, and beginning the redesign of sales enablement templates after understanding current usage patterns.
- • Within three months, you are expected to have Directive's paid creative program outperforming benchmarks with data-informed iteration cycles, the brand design system documented and consistently applied, and redesigned sales materials positively impacting client interactions.
- • You will establish a repeatable creative testing rhythm: hypothesis → variant → data → decision, operating with minimal manual oversight.
- • Performance benchmarks include achieving 25%+ average video watch length, maintaining a 10%+ ad click-through rate benchmark with creative iteration triggered below this, running a minimum of two active creative tests per channel, ensuring zero off-brand assets ship without review, and achieving a 4.0+ CSAT rating from internal stakeholders.
- • This is an individual contributor role with significant output expectations, requiring a proactive approach to communication, a strong ability to connect design decisions to commercial outcomes, and comfort with ambiguity as you build foundational design systems and creative programs from the ground up.
