Full Job Description

đź“‹ Description

  • • As the Performance & Enablement Lead at Heidi Health, you will own the design, execution, and continuous improvement of the company’s performance management system, ensuring it drives clarity, accountability, and high standards across a fast-scaling, mission-driven healthtech organization. This role is critical to Heidi’s ambition of doubling healthcare capacity by enabling leaders and teams to perform at their best through rigorous, fair, and insight-driven performance practices.
  • • You will lead Heidi’s quarterly performance cycles end-to-end, defining and refining what "at bar" means across roles, levels, and functions; facilitate calibration sessions with a strong point of view to ensure consistent, unbiased grading; and work directly with leaders to set clear expectations around goal quality, output, pace, and accountability, stepping in to diagnose underperformance and drive targeted interventions where needed.
  • • You will partner closely with founders and senior leaders to provide visibility into performance trends, surface systemic strengths and gaps, and ensure the performance system reflects real contribution — not just visibility — by designing for signal over noise and eliminating structural bias across roles, levels, and working styles.
  • • You will enable performance leadership by setting the standard for what great performance management looks like at Heidi, equipping leaders with frameworks for setting expectations, delivering high-quality feedback, and assessing performance accurately — including in the first 90 days — through hands-on facilitation and practical tools.
  • • You will own the operating rhythm of performance, integrating OKRs, progress tracking, and reviews into a cohesive cycle, and leverage AI to reduce manual overhead, accelerate insight generation, and enhance the speed and quality of performance signal — ensuring decisions are fast, well-founded, and friction-free.
  • • You will help build a culture where high standards are owned collectively, feedback is honest and actionable, and continuous improvement is embedded in how teams work — aligning with Heidi’s values of building to last, owning your practice, moving fast while staying steady, and making others better.
  • • You will have the opportunity to shape a performance system that scales with Heidi’s global growth in the US, UK, Canada, and Europe, contributing to a company that has already returned over 18 million hours to healthcare professionals and powers more than two million patient visits weekly across 116 countries.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Proven experience operating in high-performance, fast-scaling environments, preferably in tech or healthtech, with a track record of driving results through clarity and accountability.
  • • Demonstrated experience building or scaling performance frameworks, including OKRs, performance cycles, and calibration processes, with the ability to define and uphold high standards.
  • • Comfort working directly with senior leaders and founders, bringing clarity to ambiguity, making hard calls, and driving outcomes — not just process — in fast-moving, ambiguous settings.
  • • Experience using AI tools or building AI-enhanced workflows to improve decision-making speed, insight quality, or reduce manual overhead in people or operational systems.
  • • Strong systems thinking: ability to design performance systems that capture diverse contributions fairly across roles, levels, and working styles, avoiding bias and privileging signal over noise.
  • • Direct, honest communication style — able to challenge constructively, deliver tough feedback, and hold leaders and teams accountable to agreed standards.

🏖️ Benefits

  • • Flexible hybrid working model with 3 days in the office per week, supporting work-life balance and collaboration.
  • • Generous personal development budget of $500 per annum to support continuous learning and growth.
  • • Equity participation in the company — become an owner and share in Heidi’s success as it scales globally.
  • • Opportunity to learn from world-class engineers, designers, clinicians, and creatives in a diverse, mission-driven team.
  • • Rare chance to create global impact in one of Australia’s leading healthtech startups, with the potential to fast-track your career through high-impact contributions.
  • • Commitment to an equitable, inclusive, and supportive workplace where diverse backgrounds and perspectives are valued and leveraged as strengths.
