📋 Description

• As a Performance Marketing Strategist at Breakout, you will lead performance marketing across every channel, market, and audience segment, owning strategy and daily execution of all paid media worldwide while reporting directly to the VP of Growth.
• You will be hands-on in ad accounts daily—briefing, building, launching, optimizing, and killing campaigns on Meta, Google, TikTok, X, Reddit, YouTube, programmatic, and endemic crypto publishers, while setting strategy for what gets tested, scaled, or cut.
• You will join a fast-growing crypto prop trading firm backed by Kraken, working alongside Creative, Content, Lifecycle, Analytics, Affiliate, and Kraken’s performance marketing team to hit aggressive CAC and payback targets while scaling spend responsibly.
• You will build measurement infrastructure, translate test learnings into frameworks, present results to leadership, and compound insights across Kraken’s brands through close collaboration with Payward’s marketing team.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of hands-on performance marketing experience with a track record of building or running paid acquisition programs at scale in high-growth environments.
• Demonstrated success managing multi-million-dollar paid budgets across channels with real accountability for CAC and payback, not just impressions and clicks.
• Deep hands-on experience across Meta, Google, TikTok, YouTube, X, Reddit, and programmatic, plus comfort exploring emerging platforms.
• Strong command of attribution, MMPs (Appsflyer, Branch), and incrementality measurement, knowing when to trust or stress-test platform metrics.
• Sharp creative instincts to brief, review, and iterate on creative alongside designers without getting lost in the craft.
• Analytical depth—comfortable in spreadsheets, dashboards, and SQL-adjacent work, building models to pressure-test assumptions.
