- • As a Perl Developer at Xebia, you will be an integral part of a project focused on delivering a robust platform that serves as the backbone for a telecommunications client. This platform is architected around a central CRM and integration hub, complemented by sophisticated customer-facing tools and APIs. Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and maintain critical Perl applications that drive the functionality and efficiency of this ecosystem. You will be involved in every stage of the software development lifecycle, from initial concept and design through to implementation, testing, and ongoing maintenance.
- • Your day-to-day will involve writing clean, well-structured, and highly testable code that adheres to best practices. You will have the opportunity to work with modern development methodologies and contribute to the creation of reusable components and modules. A significant aspect of the role will involve developing and integrating APIs, specifically working with JSON and XML formats, to ensure seamless communication between various systems within the platform and with external partners.

🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience as a Perl Developer, with a strong understanding of its syntax, features, and best practices.
- • Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining applications using Perl.
- • Proficiency in working with APIs, specifically developing and integrating JSON and XML based services.
- • Solid understanding and practical experience with Relational Databases and Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) concepts.
- • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and testing methodologies (unit, integration testing).
