- • Own the end-to-end customer relationship for a book of Non-Resident Indian (NRI) customers, from onboarding through ongoing financial advisory and retention
- • Serve as the primary trusted financial partner for NRIs, addressing complex cross-border financial needs without relying on scripts or generic responses
- • Translate regulatory complexity—including FEMA compliance, tax implications, and distinctions between NRO and NRE accounts—into clear, confident, and actionable guidance for customers
- • Independently resolve account-related issues, KYC documentation problems, transaction discrepancies, and other customer concerns from first contact to confirmed resolution with no handoffs
- • Identify recurring friction points in customer interactions and translate them into specific, actionable recommendations for product and operational improvements
- • Maintain detailed, accurate CRM records that reflect customer history, concerns, and resolutions to ensure continuity and institutional knowledge
- • Contribute to the development and refinement of internal playbooks, ensuring the entire team benefits from frontline customer insights and best practices
- • Act as a bridge between customer experience and product development, feeding real-time customer feedback directly into product evolution
- • Build deep, long-term relationships with NRI customers by demonstrating empathy, expertise, and ownership over their financial journey across borders
- • Engage in nuanced conversations about money with customers under stress, ensuring clarity and confidence in every interaction
- • Proactively anticipate customer needs based on patterns observed in cross-border financial behavior and regulatory changes
- • Ensure all customer interactions align with compliance standards while maintaining a human-centered, solution-oriented approach
- • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes that reduce customer effort and improve resolution speed and accuracy
- • Represent Aspora as a knowledgeable, reliable, and empathetic point of contact for NRIs navigating one of the most complex and under-served financial journeys globally
- • Continuously refine personal expertise in cross-border financial regulation, NRI banking structures, and international tax considerations through direct customer engagement

- • Experience in a customer-facing role in banking, fintech, financial services, or high-touch customer success
- • Strong understanding of financial products and ability to explain them simply
- • High ownership mindset: treat a customer's problem as yours until it is solved
- • Ability to operate without a script—diagnose, improvise, and escalate with full context when needed
- • Comfortable with regulatory and compliance complexity; do not shy away from hard conversations
- • Clear written and verbal communication in English; able to hold nuanced conversations about money with customers under stress
