📋 Description

• The PFS Representative CBO Cash Payment Posting role is essential to Banner Health’s revenue cycle, focusing on reducing accounts receivable and enhancing patient experience by processing payments and working with insurance companies to secure reimbursement for hospital services.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include processing electronic and manual payment postings to patient accounts, researching payments and denials, reconciling account balances, responding to patient and provider inquiries, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely reimbursement.
• The role is part of Banner Health’s Revenue Cycle Central Support Services team, a nationally recognized healthcare leader committed to pay equity, transparency, and a drug-free work environment, providing remote work opportunities with company-provided equipment.
• In this position, you will develop expertise in healthcare revenue cycle operations, strengthen analytical and problem-solving skills, gain proficiency in Banner Systems (MS4, Cerner, Finthrive, nthrive), and contribute to reducing AR while improving patient financial interactions.

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge
• 2 years of patient financial services or revenue cycle experience
• At least 1 year of previous cash payment posting experience (clearly reflected in resume)
