- • The Philanthropy Data Analyst serves as a key analytics partner for fundraisers and the Philanthropy Effectiveness team, developing analyses, reports, dashboards, and data tools to meet business needs and support operational effectiveness and strategic decision-making.
- • Day to day, the analyst will act as a strategic analytics partner to stakeholders, query and analyze data from CRM and data warehouses, design and maintain Power BI dashboards and operational reports, translate business questions into analytical approaches, ensure alignment with data governance standards, and contribute to data governance initiatives and the adoption of reporting standards.
- • The role sits within the Philanthropy Operations & Performance team in Global Development, serving as an embedded analytics partner to fundraisers and teams within Philanthropy Effectiveness, including Prospect Management, Data & Technology Solutions, Revenue Management, Project & Planning, Consulting and Learning.
- • In this role, the analyst will develop expertise in translating complex fundraising data into actionable insights, build scalable data tools, strengthen data-informed fundraising practices, and grow as a trusted advisor to department leaders and frontline staff while contributing to enterprise-wide data governance and reporting excellence.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years related experience or equivalent combination
- • Experience designing and generating reports, manipulating, analysing data, and communicating results to non-technical audiences
- • Experience with current and evolving technology in database management, data visualization, and analytics
- • Experience with relational databases and manipulating relational data within a database and spreadsheet application
- • Experience working and collaborating with cross-functional teams
- • Experience, coursework, or other training in principles, practices, and procedures of business intelligence
