Full Job Description
📋 Description
- • Design advanced, deterministic physics problems for training and evaluating frontier AI models, ensuring each problem has exactly one verifiable correct answer.
- • Develop complete, verified solutions for all problems, clearly documenting the step-by-step reasoning process to ensure reproducibility and technical accuracy.
- • Create problems that test deep physical reasoning, multi-step analysis, and real-world application of physics principles, avoiding reliance on memorization or superficial knowledge.
- • Utilize Python and scientific libraries such as numpy and scipy to build computational models, simulations, or workflows where relevant to problem design.
- • Ensure all problem statements, solutions, and documentation are technically precise, logically structured, and written in clear, professional English.
- • Contribute to high-quality STEM training datasets used directly in AI training and evaluation pipelines at leading AI research labs.
- • Collaborate remotely to deliver problems and solutions on schedule, adhering to strict quality standards for technical correctness and clarity.
- • Maintain rigorous attention to detail in every output, verifying numerical results, unit consistency, and physical plausibility across all problem components.
- • Design problems that reflect authentic workflows in theoretical, experimental, or computational physics, challenging state-of-the-art AI systems with non-trivial reasoning tasks.
- • Where applicable, integrate domain-specific physics simulations or computational tools to enhance problem complexity and realism.
- • Deliver consistent, high-fidelity outputs within a 2-month contract period, with potential for extension based on performance and project needs.
- • Work independently to meet deadlines while maintaining alignment with project goals for AI model reasoning enhancement in technical domains.
- • Ensure all submitted materials are free of ambiguity, errors, or inconsistencies that could compromise AI training or evaluation outcomes.
🎯 Requirements
- • Master’s or PhD in Physics or a closely related field
- • Strong research or industry experience in theoretical, experimental, or computational physics
- • Proficient in Python with experience using scientific libraries such as numpy, scipy, or similar
- • Solid understanding of modeling, simulation, numerical methods, and multi-step problem solving
- • Ability to design original, difficult physics problems that reflect real physics workflows
- • Excellent technical writing skills in English
🏖️ Benefits
- • Compensation up to 40 USD per hour
- • Contract/part-time engagement with flexibility to work 20–40 hours per week
- • Remote work arrangement with no location restrictions within Romania
- • Project duration of 2 months with potential for extension based on performance
