- • As a Platform Architect for SFMC Enablement at Dentsu Aegis Network Ltd., you will serve as a trusted technical advisor and hands-on expert in Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement, guiding clients on best practices, designing scalable solutions, and optimizing digital messaging programs across email, mobile, and related channels—playing a critical role in delivering high-impact marketing technology outcomes without owning enterprise-wide architecture.
- • You will design and support scalable SFMC Engagement solutions by translating business requirements into technical configurations, conducting platform audits and health checks, building automations and journeys using AMPscript, SSJS, SQL, and GTL, and supporting REST/SOAP API integrations while maintaining deep expertise in Data Extensions, Contact Builder, Journey Builder, and Automation Studio.
- • Acting as the primary technical subject matter expert for assigned clients, you will provide proactive recommendations on new capabilities, explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, and contribute to client engagement roadmaps aligned with business goals and digital marketing standards.
- • You will create and maintain solution documentation including workflow diagrams and technical specifications, contribute to internal best practices and reusable assets, and document platform patterns and lessons learned to strengthen team capabilities and delivery consistency.
- • Collaborating closely with developers, project managers, strategists, and analytics teams, you will troubleshoot platform issues, escalate complex problems when needed, stay current on SFMC releases, and ensure reliable, high-quality, on-time delivery across all technical workstreams.
- • You will bring 5+ years of hands-on SFMC Engagement experience, proficiency in AMPscript, SSJS, SQL, and GTL, experience with REST and SOAP API integrations, and a strong understanding of core platform components—preferably backed by one or more Salesforce certifications such as Marketing Cloud Email Specialist, Administrator, Consultant, or Developer.
- • Your background in technical implementation, development, or platform configuration, combined with client-facing or consulting experience, will enable you to lead requirements gathering, communicate technical concepts clearly, solve problems amid ambiguity, and guide clients through digital messaging best practices across email, SMS, and mobile/push channels.
- • You will apply your familiarity with compliance frameworks including CAN-SPAM and GDPR to ensure solutions meet regulatory standards, while contributing to a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the Merkle team at Dentsu.
