- • Build and extend core platform features using Go, including custom Kubernetes operators and controllers to abstract Kubernetes complexity while preserving its full power.
- • Design and implement GitOps workflows with ArgoCD to automate continuous deployment and streamline application delivery for developers.
- • Develop infrastructure-as-code patterns using Terraform and Helm to provision, configure, and manage multi-cluster Kubernetes environments.
- • Work on distributed storage solutions using Ceph and WEKA to deliver high-performance, scalable storage for production workloads.
- • Create observability and monitoring systems with Prometheus and Grafana to surface cluster health, performance metrics, and operational insights.
- • Build and optimize container networking using Cilium to enforce network security policies and enhance observability across clusters.
- • Design and implement federated Kubernetes architectures to enable seamless multi-cluster management across environments.
- • Develop automation tooling to reduce operational overhead for developers running production workloads on the platform.
- • Contribute to open-source components within the Kubernetes ecosystem and help establish foundational platform architecture patterns as an early team member.
- • Collaborate closely with the founding team to shape the product roadmap, technical direction, and developer experience of the next-generation platform.
- • Ensure platform reliability, scalability, and security through rigorous engineering practices and continuous improvement of infrastructure components.
- • Translate developer needs into robust platform capabilities that abstract underlying complexity without sacrificing control or performance.
- • Maintain and evolve CI/CD pipelines to support automated testing, deployment, and rollback strategies across multiple clusters.
- • Document platform architecture, workflows, and operational procedures to enable team scalability and knowledge sharing.
- • Participate in on-call rotations to ensure platform uptime and rapid response to production incidents.
- • Engage with the broader cloud-native community to stay current with emerging tools, standards, and best practices in Kubernetes and infrastructure engineering.
🎯 Requirements
- • 2+ years of software development experience.
- • Proficiency in Go and Kubernetes, with hands-on experience building developer tools or infrastructure products.
- • Experience with ArgoCD and CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows.
- • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and their managed Kubernetes offerings.
- • Experience with containerization, networking, and cloud-native architectures.
- • Self-directed, hungry to learn, and comfortable operating with autonomy.
